I personally look for character development & attachment, something to show that they won't be adopted & then immediately forgotten about, as well as sometimes what they can do for the community. Like art, art is really helpful for spreading the community around; I don't look for quality in it so much as I just look for effort & sincerity.

Still trying for my first one. I've only applied for two visects so far, actually, I think. I don't apply for a character unless I feel super connected to it. Then I throw in all of my effort and hope for the best! The two visects I applied for are connected to each other in my applications, because there are always two characters in the stories I make, unintentionally. I made the story for visect 238 with another one in mind, which turned out to be visect 243 (odd coincidence) and now I'm fighting for 243. No one else has completed their form for visect 238, for some reason. Such a lovely ribbon on that one! (I'm getting sleepy and babbly, forgive me.)

Dunno, but it was within the 15-25th Viscets. I never actually tried out for any of them, or even made my presence clear until recently / some number of months ago, because I'm a shy lil' butt. [ Also, my account is young, because I had to make another account when my old laptop died and I was never able to log back into my old acc. ;A; ]
