Why do I want her: she is the character form of my dog. When I seen her image on on sanwhiches lines I thought "that character looks like Sam (RL)!" So I set about starting to make a personality, a bases for all characters. Once I had studied her personality I crafted it into something to help the character. I also noticed the marking where a little different for the real thing to the character version, so I made a few minor edits. I kept the markings on her side to show that this is not the "real" Sam, but a character representing her. Although I wonder what she would look like with them in real life... I started her history with puppyhood, who was she as a puppy, and where was she as a puppy, were the questions I had to ask. I came up with a personality that was different form what she has today, that would help show the changes she has gone through throughout her life. I felt the backstory was important to tell since it is a character that embodies Sam (RL), how ever now we move onto the "use". She will have her own website page or website, I am unsure at the moment because I am thinking of splitting my characters into multiply websites. Something of a blog was an idea I had, not to sure wether it would be on the character page/ website, chicken smoothie or another RPing website. Tones of art work, done by me and other artist. Some art would be custom adoptables, large art, tags or avatar, references (because she needs more than one of those?), and who knows what else. I was thinking of trying my hand at a real life plushy or embroidery craft of her. I would continue to write about her life, making up what I do not know and elaborating on what I do. I would forever be looking for a mate for her, from the day I (crosses fingers) get her I would put much effort and money into searching for a mate for her, from list of what I would want personality wise and physically from a mate, to puppy artist names I will be on a never ending search for him. If and when I find him I would want a role play, stories and many many many puppies. These puppies would be where her mothering side comes in to play. I doubt that I would use her as a role play character, but I would hope my intention to make a half made up biography on her would compensate for that. I would never sell her, trade her, gift her, or donate her back, as she is taking after my pet. Oh, and I blame all spelling grammar mistakes on her, since I was petting her when I wrote some of this.
personality: Sweet, kind, disobedient and lazy. Samantha is always looking out for those she loves, she knows it is her duty to protect them. She feels a puticular I love towards puppies, she knows how to show her superiority and how to help them grow as animals. Seeing her young humans with this kind of obedience is required attitude, she often gets in trouble for being always near as she protects them. Not only does she want to protect them, but she loves the attention. Even when she is not wanted she will appear hopping to mooch love from her owners and guests. Samantha protectiveness over any one in her home means that any deer or moose that wonder by get barked at. This need to brark is okay through out the day, but at night it comes at a great annoyance to her owners. Every good guard dog needs to sleep and rest while before doing anything. Samantha tends to rest just as much as she guards in order to "save energy", her favourite place to lay is in a window well.
All around her Samantha could feel her 15 siblings huddled around her, their mother feeding them. Samantha was just a new born pup, not even a day old. Being the adorable puppy she was, the next day she hit her brother Brute while trying to roll over. Squealing loudly, Brute was shocked and did not know what had happened, with all their eyes still closed he just felt a paw hit him in the head. Momma gently licked Brute to make sure he was okay. Rolling over Samantha got hungry, slipping and slopping all over the place she finally reach her mother's side. A shiver went down her spine, as this large five fingered foot like extremity picked her up. Crying loudly she hoped her mother would come rescue her. Gently the large creature stroked her back, calming her down. Excitedly Samantha nuzzled this being hopping to be rewarded. After being pet for some time she was set down beside her mother for a meal. After a delicious meal of warm milk, she fell into a long sleep, dreaming of running forever. Waking up more tried then she went to sleep, Samantha smelt a meaty warm smell. After a few seconds of thought, she "run" towards the yummy smell, colliding with a strong furry leg. The owner of that leg turned and growled at the young pup, Samantha whimpered loudly until her mother came over. With a growl three time as ferrous, Samantha's mother picked her up by the scruff of her neck, taking her back to the warm bed. Young Samantha and her siblings sleep and eat the youngest days of their life away. Waking up was a chore for this little puppy, she rarely did it in under 20 minutes, but today was different. When she woke up she opened her eyes. For the first time Samantha could see her mother and little siblings, not only could she see them she could her them. A new chapter in her life had started, one full of sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. Yipping she headed over to her sister Allie and nipped her on the nose. Allie who had not opened her eyes yet whimpered in pain, attracting her mother's attention. Samantha was taught a lesson, to be nice to others, with a quick growl. Feeling sorry for her sister Samantha snuggled against her hoping to comfort her and apologize for the mean nip.
The next day all the pups had their eyes and ears wide open. Soon there was a game of wrestle going on, before breakfast. The mamma dog was not happy about having her set schedule interrupted by her young pups, growling she broke apart the match and directed them towards the food. They ate greedily. Desidding that she wanted to wrestle again sam pulls on her little sister's tail in order to start again. She realy got into the wrestle and was wining or at least holding her own, against her older brother, when a large human hand lifter her up. Hopping to be gently stroked again she look up and wimpered at the human. Doing and odd gesture with their mouth the human told her "don't be afraid little one". As the human stoked her Samantha thought how wonderful this creatures were, they feed her mother and the other older dogs, they played with the pups and generally were the ones who did all the work. Once the human sat her down, Samantha thought about having another go against her brother, but as she was thinking she fell asleep.
It was a could February morning in the city, Samantha
Early one morning Samantha stretched out on her comfy bed of blankets. Looking over her shoulder she seen her owner, a little old women wearing a robe and slippers. Gleefully she headed over to the women and snuggled against her legs. The women told Samantha who she named Daisy, "come to the kitchen for breakfast Daisy." Following her owner to the kitchen she waited for her to open up the bag of dog food, then using a metal scoop take some out and put them in Samantha dish. Samantha's owner decorated the dish with pink bows, green, and pink paint, as well as rhinestones that spelled out DAISY. Eagerly Samantha eat the food in the dish, as her owner made her own food. After Samantha was done she had a long nap by the fire. Waking up to a thud, Samantha look around in time to see her owner gasping for breath. Try as she might Samantha could not save the old, frail women that meant so very much to her. Crying and wining for the better part of the day Samantha morns the loss of her owner. Eventually the front door opens and her owner's daughter gasped at the sight. Crying, the daughter called 911. The next few hours were a blur of being locked in rooms and put outside, to Samantha.
Learning about compassion and kindness at a young age stuck with Samantha throughout her life. Many many years later she a fully grown, black, white and gold dog was living with a family of five. The had taken her on a trip in their home on wheels (Camper). As her older owner went to talk to the humans who owned where they would be staying, Sam and the younger one went to a grassy area. The blue sky complemented the bright green grass and white posts. Looking around, Sam spots another smaller all white dog. Tugging on the leash she tried to go over, but her younger owner held onto the leash and would not let her go. The older owner came over and talked to the younger one for a little, once the older owner finished Sam managed to break free, well tug a least the three over to the little dog. Sam could smell the little dogs fright, and approached with gentle caution. The smaller dog, no longer as afraid walked over to Sam and sniffed her. The two dogs got along greet even if it was for only a minute or two. The little dogs owner told Sam's owners that "this is the first big dog she has gotten along with".
Laying in her dog house Sam perked up, she could smell something, an canine animal, fox. Quickly leaving the house she went to the back gate were the smell was coming from and began to bark. She could hear the fox running away, satisfied she layers down by the gate to insure that the fox did not come back. A few hours later the fox did come back, and Sam was ready barking at the fox to tell it to go away for good. After the fox left she heard the other gate open, wondering who it was she headed over. It was one of her owners, they let her into the garage where a comfy bed awaited here. In the morning the same owner let her out again. Then still smelling the fox she run to the back and started barking. Her owner opened the back gate and let her out, to show here that there was nothing back there. Sam sniffed around be soon realized that her bar king had been enough to send the fox packing. Happily wagging her tail she headed back to her yard. Later, that afternoon she could smell the the fox coming back towards her yard. Quickly she ran up to the fence and began barking, one of her ones came over and told her to stop. Fifteen minutes or so later the sneaky fox made it reappearance, barking loudly she dashed out the back gate and ran down a small trail. Chasing after her, her owner screamed her name. Madly dashing through the wooded area she gave chase to that fox. However she could not catch up, soon exiting the woods she looped around and headed for her house. Almost at her house she decided that it was to much work and laid down for a rest. Minutes later a few neighbourhood found her and took her back home.
Quirk:
After having to survive in the wilderness alone for months, Sam had come across an unlikely food source, bugs. She would eat them if they buzzed around her, or landed in her food. Some would call eating them lowering yourself, but Sam though of eating them as frugal. Her preferred bug was wasps, but she did not mind bees or flies. However the worst bugs to eat are spiders and ants.
Theme song: all kinds of kinds
This song represents that she is a one of a kind dog, sweet, loveable and trouble. She is her own unique animal, get she is one of many gentle, kind, dogs that make up this world. There is nothing in life that can compare to being both one of a kind, and one in a group of the same kind. There for she is a kind of kind.
