Name; Atropos
(Named after one of the
Greek Moirai.)
Wikipedia wrote:Atropos or Aisa (/ˈætrəpɒs/; Ancient Greek: Ἄτροπος "without turn"), in Greek mythology, was one of the three Moirai, goddesses of fate and destiny. Her Roman equivalent was Morta.
Atropos was the oldest of the Three Fates, and was known as the "inflexible" or "inevitable." It was Atropos who chose the mechanism of death and ended the life of each mortal by cutting their thread with her "abhorred shears." She worked along with her two sisters, Clotho, who spun the thread, and Lachesis, who measured the length
Gender; Female
Personality;Determined and stubborn, Atropos tends to make enemies fairly easily. Just by looking at her, you'd never think of anyone hating the poor soul, what with her adorable and sweet looks. But not everything is as it seems - appearances will only go so far as to tell what lies within. Nothing is more true with Atropos, for even with her seemingly-cute looks, she most certainly has her days of devilish behavior and rude comments. Her sweet days are few and far between. A trickster by nature, she loves to prank others. She loves seeing their shocked expressions alight upon their faces, and adores hearing their horrified screams of terror. Atropos is a wild-child, hating to stay in one place for too long. Energetic and a thrill-seeker, Atropos does her best to keep moving. After completing one task, she barely catches her breath before going out and doing something different. Getting her to slow down is next to impossible, and is not recommended. She'll slow down when she feels like it, and trying to force her to do something against her will is a ridiculous notion, so don't even bother trying.
Antisocial at first, Atropos can be very snippy and rude at your initial meeting. Once she warms up to you, however, she'll become more loose and less clammed-up. She'll lose the exterior mask she puts up for everyone to see - the sweet, demure little viscet that everyone expects her to be - and open up to you, either lashing out in anger or enjoying your company in happiness. She won't hesitate to give you just what you deserve, however, so if you decide to be a backstabber to her, be on the lookout - she won't be far behind you, plotting revenge. It would be best to stay on her good side, as those that are mean to her don't have good lives afterwards.
Inflexible and intolerant, Atropos is very set in her ways. Trying to get her to believe something contrary to what she's always believed is a chore at best, and impossible at worst. She rarely changes her mind once it's been made up, and trying to persuade her after she's done this will be detrimental on your part. If provoked, she won't hesitate to attack, clawing, scratching, or hissing until you back off. She will stand her ground in any situation, as she is never afraid of a fight.
Favorite Candy/Candies;Her two favorite kinds of candies are things that are black licorice-flavored or things that are spicy. Specifically, she loves
Black Licorice Jelly Beans and
Vertigo Pepper Candy...though she is also partial to
Twizzler's Black Licorice Bites,
Hot Tamales - Fierce Cinnamon, and
Lavaballs.
Extra; "Clotho's my tail. She rarely says anything; she just occasionally eats stuff, unless I tell her to spit the junk out. She often acts as my pillow - I'll lay my head down on her if I need a nap. She's really the only friend I've got, at the moment. And if you give her any nasty stares, you'll have me to deal with. Got it? She's quite sensitive, unlike myself. Honestly, other viscets are just mean to her. They'll stare at her and point their grubby little claws in her direction, laughing and making jokes. It's rude! I don't understand why they do that. Seriously, would YOU like someone pointing and laughing at you? Ugh. It's just so annoying. It's why I'm done with trying to socialize with anyone my age, honestly. I prefer more mature viscets who won't make fun of my friend, whom I happen to be attatched to.
Anywho, about my tail - Clotho is just a sweetheart. She's always the one who nudges me to do nice things for others - which I loathe doing, but will do so if prodded enough - and she's always the one who looks out for others, when I could care less. We are essentially polar opposites. Her emotions are usually the same as mine, however, in times of extremity. For example, when I'm seriously mad at someone and am amazingly holding myself back by just glaring at them, Clotho will growl and gnash her teeth. She might even snap in their direction, if I'm mad enough! But other than my times of extreme emotional turmoil, Clotho is her own being and doesn't generally agree with me on practically anything.
Oh, and I should probably mention that although she doesn't talk much, I can technically understand what she wants to do or wants to say. It's a bit weird - I can't hear her voice, or anything, and we don't communicate telepathically...it's more like I feel what she feels, though I have the choice to do something about that feeling. Either I squash it, or I do whatever it is she's feeling like she wants to do.
Our relationship can be a bit confusing for outsiders to understand, but I really do love being with Clotho, and couldn't imagine life without her. She's always here when I need her, and I love her dearly."
