⚜ Welcome to Mageling adopts! Magelings are small fox-like creatures that live just about in any wooded area of the world. Unlike normal foxes, they have tufts of fur on their ears and can come in a range of colors. A full grown adult can range from the size of a small cat to a large one. Pups are the size of kittens when born and can fit in one's palm easily. Each Mageling gets a small lantern pendant containing a floating orb. Depending on the orb's color, the Mageling can use that type of magic.

Truly I have lost weight, I have lost weight,
grown lean in love’s defense,

It was concupiscence that brought me to the state:
all bone and a bit of skin
to keep the bone within.
Flesh is no heavy burden for one possessed of little
and accustomed to its loss.
I lean to love, which leaves me lean, till lean turn into lack.
A wanton bone, I sing my song
and travel where the bone is blown
and extricate true love from lust
as any man of wisdom must.
Then wherefore should I rage
against this pilgrimage
from gravel unto gravel?
Circuitous I travel
from love to lack / and lack to lack,
from lean to lack
and back.

As he paced around in circles, his mind was stuck between two options. Would he go as a skeleton again this year, or something new? Azazel sighed, and decided to just go as himself again. He had no time to make a costume, and little money to buy one, so it would have to do. As he hung up some quick "spoopy" Halloween decorations, he put out a dish of candy. He'd be back later to hand it out, but for now it's have to just stay there.

Azazel ran outside, into the crisp fall air. It smelled of pumpkins, leaves and bonfires. He shivered, thinking of how nice it'd be get back inside and to sit by a warm, crackling fire. But even nicer with candy, he thought to himself, shaking the thought of the fire away. He dashed from door to door until he could barely carry his haul. Now it was his time to give candy. As each costume came and went, he wrote the name of each for a possibility next year. When Halloween was nearly over, he pulled some candy over to the glowing fire and sat warming his paws. He loved his tradition, no matter how small it seemed. No matter how old you get, Halloween is a holiday for everyone.
