there are many planets in our solar system, in the universe, many left undiscovered. they may remain that way for many years, but we have just gotten a look at some which may sustain extraterrestrial life. what lives on them? what is the weather like? how large are these planets? what are they made of?

the planetarium is an adoption center where you may adopt an entire planet to craft to your liking. the purpose of this thread is for the adoption; you don't have to tell me any of your ideas for your planet, but i'd love to hear them! the pixels are meant to fit in your signature if you'd like them to. only one person can have each planet, though new ones are released weekly!

there are different sections of the planetarium: discovered planets, pre-made planets, and custom planets. each area has a different form to fill out, though the process is virtually the same!

discovered planets are planets scientists know exist in real life, hence the name. they are are already named (usually a combination of letters & numbers), but you can easily give them your own! there's a little bit of information about each one, so you have less to write, but there's still many opportunities to let your imagination flow!

next are pre-made planets. these are pre-made color designs i have done. the rest of the creation is up to you! there are virtually no restrictions on what you may do.

finally, there are custom planets. i use a base for these and you may request specifics for the design you would like, including details like rings! these are basically like pre-made planets, except you choose the appearance.

there are also special planets available to bid on. bids work by sending me a trade with "bid on [planet number/nickname]" and filling out the form provided! under the specials section there may also be things such as stars or moons, so stay tuned! the offers are rotated out after their events end (i will always give a little heads up).

this is GJ1214b, a planet consisting mostly of water, its atmosphere made of a thick layer of steam due to the temperature. it is larger than earth, but smaller than uranus. costs 5 stardust. owned by: felineprincess



here we have HD 189733b, a pretty planet where one side is always facing away from its sun, the other always facing towards it. there it supposedly rains liquid glass at 4,500 mph, sideways! costs 5 stardust. owned by: PikachuTori25



kepler-186f is a planet much like earth, found in the habitable zone of its star. it's likely to be very rocky. costs 5 stardust. owned by: shadow9119
