- About The Species
- Origins
- Pipsqueaks are native to a large forest in northern Asia. It's a peaceful place, blessed by their deities everlasting light. However, due to deforestation many Pipsqueaks were forced away from their holy land and ended up in cities instead of forests. Because of their small size many humans have started domesticating them and through out the world they've become a largely desired house pet for their loyalty, easy temperament, and small size. Some even believe that Pipsqueaks are bringers of goodluck, and that having one in your home is a great blessing.
- Pipsqueaks are a small, raptor-like species more related to mammals than reptiles or birds. Pipsqueaks stand on their hind legs and come in all sorts of colors, temperaments, and coat variations. The more domesticated a Pipsqueak is the less feathers and fluff they have. Despite all these variations Pipsqueaks all have some sort of ear fur, ridged ears, and raptor-like dewclaws. Their front paws only have two clawed fingers and are used to tear the bark off trees that hold insects, their favorite wild food-source. They're also known for their strange star pupils, of which give them an otherworldly look. Their tails are also very long, and it's very rare to ever see a Pipsqueak with a small tail.
From foot to shoulder Pipsqueaks stand about one to three feet off the ground.
- Pipsqueaks thrive on a grub-like insect native to their forests in Asia that oozes a strange glowing substance that varies in color. This insect provides a cretin enzyme for Pipsqueaks that allow them to project a cloud of brightly colored mist as a defense mechanism.
Other than this Pipsqueaks are omnivores which eat anything from bamboo and grasses to small birds, insects, and rabbits. Domesticated Pipsqueaks can eat the same as other pets, however they must be provided with certain supplements to be considered healthy.
- ★ There is no distinction between genders- all are androgynous and posses the same set of sexual organs.
★ Their tail is used as a social tool, as Pipsqueaks wave their tails to greet others and will often smack their tails on another Pipsqueak's flank to challenge them.
★ Their blood is white.
★ Cannot speak to humans normally but some can communicate with telepathy.
- Rules
- General Public
- ★ You are free to sell and trade your Pipsqueaks, but please notify the proper staff member(s) before you do! We need to keep the archive up to date.
★ You can only sell your Pipsqueak for as much as you bought if for or lower, nothing more. If you sell your Pipsqueak for a larger amount than you bought it for, we have the right to confiscate it without refund. The only exception to this rule is if you have at least five quality pieces of artwork of them, then you may sell them for more but you must contact a staff member about your trade/sale and why it's larger than it should be.
★ Free-adopts cannot be sold until myself or a staff-member have been appraised them for their worth rarity-wise.
★ You may own as many Pipsqueaks as you like.
★ You are allowed to try out for staff positions, but please do not ask straight out to be staff - I never accept these sorts of requests. You must go through a try-out comp like everyone else.
★ You're free to style your Pipsqueaks feathers but they must stay the same color as well as relatively the same length.
★ You may do these line edits on their given ref, but I prefer you make your own ref for these edits.
★ If your Pipsqueak does not have feathers you cannot add them, but you may add the hair atop their head to the default style length.
★ You cannot make your own Pipsqueak without a MYO voucher/ticket or permission from a staff member.
★ You can only buy customs when custom slots are available.
★ You are NOT allowed to give your Pipsqueaks powers; only blessed Pipsqueaks have powers.

★ Make at least one free adopt every month.
★ Do not make very uncommon and higher rarity Pipsqueaks without permission.

★ You can base your customs/MYOs off preexisting characters, but they must have notable differences and cannot have the same name as the character they're based off of.
★ Judge contests on time or I end up doing them for you.
★ Archivists & other staff; try to be on every day for at least ten minutes or so.
★ You must be able to provide a Skype that I can contact you with and add you into a staff chat.
★ You cannot be younger than 16 years of age (you do not have to provide proof[I actually prefer if you don't], but if I find our you're younger I will not hesitate to fire you for lying.)
- ★ Pipsqueaks can only breed five times unless they have an item to extend their slots.
★ Inbred Pipsqueaks (or rather Pipsqueaks with relatives in same family tree) will have 1 child less than usual when bred together but are still guaranteed one child.
★ Pipsqueaks have up to five offspring per litter and are guaranteed at least one child.
★ If breeding your own Pipsqueaks on your lonesome you can only take one of the made offspring. The rest you can either gift them to a user(user must comment saying they've accepted the gift), sell for currency (must be approved by Cherry-Prince/Dave Egbert), or make an adopt comp for your Pipsqueak's offspring.
★ You may own and breed your own Pipsqueaks together.
★ You may breed your Pipsqueak and someone else's however they must comment on your form or quote it to accept the breeding. All parties must do this.
