deep in the forest, hidden under the leaves of trees and flowers,
are small wisps. these wisps aren't very big, and cannot be seen by the human eye. this is stage
one, and usually only lasts a few days after a wisp is born. wisps are born from children's happy
dreams.
stage two begins when an animal discovers the wisp. the wisp will then proceed
to merging with the creature. this is painless and occurs within a few seconds. the wisp
gathers nutrients from its host for the time being. this process lasts from a day to a week.
stage three begins when the animal sleeps. once the animal sleeps, the wisp exits its host and enters
the nearest plant, whether it be a tree, flower, or fruit. after about a month, a milk bottle will sprout
and inside will be fresh cream. this process usually takes a month.
stage four begins immediately after stage three. the cream will begin forming into a bottlepuff
that resembles both its creature host and the plant it sprout from. after one week, the bottlepuff
will be fully formed. the unused cream inside the bottle feeds the bottlepuff until it can exit the
bottle to find food (usually at two weeks old).
stage five begins once all the cream in the bottle has been used. bottlepuffs are usually two weeks
old around this time. at this point their senses will be fully developed and they will have developed
personalities. they will also have developed their aura, or their power. most bottlepuffs
have one power, but few bottlepuffs have two. these powers are usually comforting a scared child
after a nightmare, lulling them to sleep, or helping them stay asleep. some bottlepuffs even end up
being the sidekick of a magical girl. only three of these kinds have ever been born, though. after
exiting the bottle, they will shrink the bottle to a transportable size and will search for the child
whose dream they were born from. cream will spontaneously spawn in the bottle during this time.
stage six is the final stage for a bottlepuff. at this stage, they will have found their owner and will
be living with them. please take good care of your bottlepuff! most bottlepuffs will have the same
appetite as their owner - meaning if you don't like mushrooms, neither will your bottlepuff. they
sleep inside their bottle - as their bottle is the safest place for them. make sure to clean the bottle
and your bottlepuff once a week with warm soap and water to keep them happy and healthy!
