Hello there! Welcome to Lucky Deer Adoptions! Here is where you may adopt, breed, and trade Lucky Deer! What is a Lucky Deer? Let's just say that they look like this:


So, you may be wondering, why are these deer so lucky? Well, when Lucky Deer are born, they're created similarly to the way that chicks are created from eggs, only, instead of hatching from eggs, Lucky Deer hatch from four-leaf-clovers. While they're still a clover, they use telepathy to look through their future owner's mind, and find a memory of the luckiest thing that's ever happened to them. This memory then gets transferred to the Lucky Deer's soul, and powers their fortune charm forever.
Some people keep Lucky Deer just as little good-luck charms for when they need them, but this idea is frowned upon by most. Lucky Deer are typically kept as pets as well as charms. They seem to bring more luck to owners who care for them.

Like every store, we at Lucky Deer have a few rules that you must follow. These rules are here so that everyone remains happy!

Our rules:
1.) Please do not say that you drew/colored any Lucky Deer. All Lucky Deer designs belong to me and the other Lucky Deer staff, and if you state otherwise, you will be reported to the ChickenSmoothie staff.
2.)Please don't color in any Lucky Deer on your own. You may not modify or change a Lucky Deer in any way without my permission.
3.) Please don't steal a Lucky Deer that someone else adopted.
4.) If you use a Lucky Deer on a site other than CS, please give credit to me for the base, and your artist for the design/coloring.
5.) Please don't be rude to anyone here!
6.) Feel free to ask any questions if you don't understand something!

Every month or so, sometimes more often, sometimes less, there will be a new litter of Lucky Deer to adopt! The owner of each of these will be decided randomly. Just submit the form below, and you will be put into the raffle! The winners of the raffle will get to own the Lucky Deer that they won. Litter Lucky Deer will start out as four leaf clovers, and will grow up when the winners are announced. You may not use any litter Lucky Deer unless you won them. You may only submit a form for one Lucky Deer per month, but you can switch which deer you want if you decide to switch later, but you must tell me first. All Litter Lucky Deer are completely free.

They're absolutely free for anyone to adopt, and you don't have to ask for permission or post a form to have one! (You still have to give me credit if someone asks who made it, though.)

We currently only have a very small list of items that Lucky Deer can wear, but I am working on it. In the meantime, if you specifically request an item or accessory, one of the other artists or I might be able to do it, but there is no guarantee. Remember, I said might.
You can request an accessory in your custom deer order form, or you can submit a form such as the one below for an artist to add an accessory to a deer that has already been created. Accessories are free when requested with a custom order form, before the deer has been created, but if you would like to add an accessory to one of your deer that you already own, it will cost one CS pet of any date and any rarity. Send the CS pet to whichever artist adds the item on after they have sent you your deer, complete with item. If you fail to provide payment within 2 weeks of receiving your deer, you will be reported to CS staff.

To put a Lucky Deer up for trade, PM me an image of your deer, and I will put it up here with your username. If you see a deer here that you'd like to trade for, PM the owner of the deer an image of the deer you will trade for it, asking if they'd like to trade. If they agree, you must both post on this thread that you consent to the trade, and I will approve of the trade. Then, the deer that you own will be swapped on the archives. Remember, once you swap with someone, you no longer own the deer that you traded away, and can not use it without the consent of the owner! Please consult one of our mods or myself if any issues arise.

To breed a Lucky Deer, all users in the process must give their consent. If you're breeding two of your own deer, just PM images of them to me, trade over the pet that you'll be paying for them with, and I'll get the babies done as soon as possible. If you're breeding your deer with someone else's deer, you must both post on this thread that you give your consent, have one of you send me images of both deer, and then I will color the babies and PM them to both of you. You must decide between yourselves who gets to own which baby. If there is an odd number of babies, one must go to the adoption center. Please PM me to let me know who is keeping which babies, and which are going to the adoption center, if any. Unlike Lucky Deer from litters, baby Lucky Deer that are bred do not begin their lives as clovers. It is unknown why this strange phenomenon occurs.
Breeding Lucky Deer costs one pet of any rarity and date from each person who is participating in the breeding. So, if you were breeding two of your own deer with each other, then you would have to pay me one pet. However, if you were breeding your deer with another user's deer, you must have one of you send me two pets, or each of you send me one pet.
Although Lucky Deer can love more than one deer, Lucky Deer can only breed in pairs.
The gender of the Lucky Deer that are breeding does not matter. As long as you have two deer, they can breed, regardless of their gender.
The size and direction that the offspring deer have is decided by Punnett Squares normally, unless you specify the size and direction that you want the babies to have in your PM to me.

The Lucky Deer adoption center is home to confiscated and unwanted Lucky Deer. Please, oh please, won't you give them a home?
It's absolutely free to adopt from the Lucky Deer adoption center, but you'll have to fill out this quick form before you can call a deer from the adoption center your own. Post your complete form on this thread. Adoption center Lucky Deer are first come-first serve, unless your form is incomplete.
If you want to put one of your deer in the adoption center, PM me an image of it, and I will put it in. Remember, once your deer is in the adoption center, you do not own it any more, and can not use it for anything! There is no limit to how many Lucky Deer you can own, however, so there isn't really much reason for you to give yours away.
