Name You'd Choose for It: Naliera
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: It is such a cute little design, and it Naliera is so different from my other characters.
History/Background/Other:
Naliera padded down the crowded market of Mambi, India, the colorful design on her pelt matching perfect with the color artisan crafts and the clothes of the residents. She had grown up here, and could never leave. Peering through the orange hair which she often times hid behind, Naliera saw the lunch stand, the owner who always gave her a little bit of meat enough for most of the day, so she picked up the place and went up to the stand. As usaul, the owner warmly greeted her as she looked around at all the colorful customers, she especially studied a light skinned, light haired girl who looked like she must have come from somewhere else even though she did wear the same clothes.
After recieving some meat for her lunch, Naliera went over and sniffed at the girl. "Hello girl." the odd-ball girl said calmly and in a way that Naliera knew she could trust her. "Wanna come home with me? Come on, follow me." she said after stroking Naliera's back gently. Natliera knew she could trust this girl and so she followed her home.

Name You'd Choose for It: Tessa
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: When I saw this rabbit, I loved it. It was so cute and simple. But since my character thread is currently under contrustion, I figured that there are many more people that could take better care of her than I currently can. But I like her a lot. So I finally decided that I had to have her.
History/Background/Other:
~Birthday~
March 19th 2009
~Theme Song~
I'm like a Bird
~Personality~
Tessa is very brave. She always acts tough, even when she's scared. The only time she'll ever show fear is if she thinks she's going to die, or something has hurt her very deeply, and then she'll start crying. When she's scared but strong enough not to show it, she'll yell and start acting angry. In spite of her tough actions, her heart markings and sweet looks also prove true. She'll die for someone she loves and is caring and compassionate to her friends and family. She doesn't really want a mate, but she'll know when it's a good time to say yes. She knows what she wants, and hardly ever changes her mind. She doesn't want kits to the point that she cringes when she sees them. She doesn't want to have to be responsible for so many small lives.
~Family~
Her mum and dad
~Friends~
Harriet, Cleopatra, Lillie-Ann, and Finder
~Likes~
Carrots, lettuce, green beans, forests,
~Dislikes~
Tomatoes, humans (especially Hailey), anything metal, cages

I hope it's not too long. :\
Oh, and even though it didn't say I needed permission, it said that I needed to PM Bliss. So here's my proof that I sent the PM Here.

Name You'd Choose for It: Amo
Gender: Male
Reason You Want It:
I would like to adopt Amo because even though his design is rather simple, I find that he is stealing my heart because of it. I love his colors and I think his hairstyle is really epic. Plus, I need more male characters, since I find myself with an overwhelming amount of female characters.
History/Background/Other:
I am Amo. I am a loner, an outcast. But I have learned what it means to be truly lonely, and I realize that I am not. I have wandered for days without food or water. I have learnt the hardships that come along with being a loner. But I have recently realized that although I am an outcast, I am happy. I've been injured, beaten, and have been stepped on, thrown into walls and bushes. But since I found what it means to be truly lonely, I have been happy.

Name You'd Choose for It:
Saryu
Gender:
Female
Reason You Want It:
She is beautiful. The colors and the wreaths combine perfectly, I love it! If my form is accepted and I get to adopt her, I would love to role-play her often. I will do art of her or color line arts of her as much as possible, even though sometimes during school weeks I cannot, I will do my best to do so over the weekends or breaks. I do, however, go on vacation once a year for a week, and during that time I would not be able to draw art of her. I believe this character would be very special to me, as all my characters are. I would take good care of her in my best efforts. She is a very lovely-looking character, and the glow on her adds to my want to get her.
As for another topic of wanting her, the personality would be lovely to shape out. She seems like she could make a very lively character that might brighten me up on the days that I am down, or sad over something. To the enhancement, I will keep all parts of the design, even the old name written in blue on her back possibly, because that won't be too much a bother for me.
It would be an honor to receive such a character, and I barely caught any sleep last night thinking up what I would write for her as her history, background, and personality. I am going to be putting all efforts I have left in this form, and hopefully it may be enough for me to win her.
History/Background/Other:
History:had to cut it down sorry read the story here
Personality:
Saryu is a love-able and affectionate cat if you get to know her. She is extremely outgoing to strangers, but she usually keeps her past to herself. She is kind to all she meets if they are not a threat to her, and she would do anything to protect the ones she loves. She is particularly a night owl, sleeping during the time dawn begins to come until light filters into the cave, brightening it up. She loves nature, and tends to it with care, taking only what she needs and giving back with her kind deeds.
A typical perfectionist, though not in all cases does she want it to be perfect. She will not try to change a being for who they are, because by perfectionist I mean she likes to make sure she is clean sometimes. In some cases, she does not care if she is clean or not if there is an urgent matter when she must help her friends or she is trying to escape something or someone.
She is one who looks to the light of the future rather than the dark of the past, and this stands to be her reason why she does not always talk about her past. She does not mind she is different than others, with both personality and appearance, because in her opinion it does not matter that she is different, but how she is alike to others.
Likes:
Night:
When the moon shines, her blue markings and her eyes glow, and she likes to bask beneath it because the breeze is cool during that time period usually.
Nature:
Nature is kind to Saryu, in her opinion, and she does her best to be kind to it for the life it offers to her so she may thrive.
Her Wreaths:
As explained in the beginning of her history, they each hold a story of her past and some have yet to be written. She cherishes them with all her heart. It is one of her symbols of gratitude to nature, too.
Thunderstorms:
They give her a sense of safety, and she enjoy the feel of the rain on her pelt. Often in a thunderstorm, she will stand there until drenched thoroughly by the rain, but she is also careful of lightning, so she only ventures into thunderstorms when lightning does not strike.
Snow:
Despite her past, snow is one of her favorite things. She is able to blend in with it often during the day-time and night-time even because her blue markings are so light, even though it makes her like a lighthouse at night. She is now able to tread through it with ease, and her fur is fit to take the cold.
Her Markings:
At night-time, these light up so bright that miles away she still seems like a beacon of a light-house. She loves them because it makes her unique. She likes to keep them especially clean so they can be bright. At times when she cannot clean them, they can be dimmed until you can barely see them, but never fully. Usually, her eyes can still be seen to glow anyway, unless she is buried in something like, say, dirt.
Winter:
Saryu adores winter to such an extent because not only does it usually begin in her birth month, but it brings snow and cool breezes. If it is extremely cold, her fur will keep her warm, and she is still able to enjoy it.
Cool Breezes:
In the hot Summer, it is enjoyable to take a dip in the pool of water beneath the waterfall, but it cools her off more with a cool breeze if it happens to swirl by for a visit.
Traveling:
Unlike the end of the history, she tends to travel often to different places. Wherever she wanders, she tries to find a waterfall with a cave behind it, in which is a fond specific location of hers, to rest for the night.
Dislikes:
Lightning:
Though she may love the light it creates through thunderstorms, Saryu likes to play in thunderstorms. So it is unwelcoming when lightning is making its rounds through it, and she has not tendency in her to get struck by it.
Mud:
Two close relatives, one just the alternative of dirt that is wet, Saryu has tripped and fell into mud puddles on various occasions. The taste of mud if it happens to get into her mouth, is horribly disgusting to her. She tries to stay away from mud, but sometimes it is utterly impossible.
Heat:
Since her fur is fit to endure winter more than it is to endure heat and the Summer, it is pure torture to be so warm. She tends to stay by water during that time to swim in it when it becomes unbearably warm.
I understand that by adopting this creature I take full responsibility for it.
Truthfully, yes, I do.
Other than that, thank you for allowing me to apply.

Name You'd Choose for It: Bliss
Gender: Female
Reason You Want It: She has an absoloutely gourgeous design and I've always had a soft spot for blind characters x3 I am working at getting another character that I'd like to put in a comic/story but if I get her I think she would fit very nicely in the comic/story as well;(I haven't decided if I just want to write it and illustrate certian parts or have the whole thing illustrated yet)They would be the two main characters.
History/Background/Other:
Despite my wild ancestry I grew up in a large city, in a small place. My name is Bliss and this is my story;
I was born in a puppy mill, my mother was a wolf dog and my father was some other mixed breed that passed off as a black and white basenji. I gained my father's color pattern and my mother's body shape, although I remained relatively small, only about three feet high. My fur color was mainly white, with black tips on my ears and it looked as though all four of my legs had been dipped in black ink as well as my tail. Life at the puppy mill wasn't that bad, as long as I had my mother and my siblings, my dad was in a seperate kennel you see.
This puppy mill, however, was different than most because it didn't sell to pet shops, it sold to agency's that secretly experimented on dogs and I was one of the ten puppies that was sent off to one of these agency's. At first I was absoloutely terrified; in my little group there was mainly other mutt breeds, all mixes of sturdy dogs that had a better possibility of surviving experiments, all but one at least. There was another little white dog that looked very similar to a corgi, he was much younger than the rest of us and none of us expected him to survive; we called him Toby.
However I made friends with the runt of our small pack and we became the 'weakest link' as the other puppies put it. We were unable to stand up for ourselves because of our small stature.
We soon arrived at the agency and after a quick recooperation from our transfer we were immidiately poked and probed and all around inspected. I got relatively good marks due to my mother's caretaking of me and my wolf heritage.
Toby and I were placed in the cosmetic section of the testing areas. In other words we were to be used for testing out cosmetic products that would later be used on humans. The first test was of makeup, we were forced to eat small amounts of lipstick and chapstick and we were monitered for a small period of time after to see if it made us deathly sick. Luckily those products were safe and they were passed and sent of for human consumtion, to this day however I have never met a human who eats lipstick.
Anyway, the next test they were more careful about, it was of a hair regrowth syrum that was suspected to carry a small amount of the disease Malaria. I never liked it when they chose Toby for the experiments but he was usually the one to go first, this time I wasn't going to allow that and that desicion made me who I am today. The 'scientists' came in to take Toby out of our cage but this man was particularly old and couldn't see that well, I knew this and used it to my atvantage.
At the last second I pushed Toby out of the way and was taken instead. The test was conducted and luckily it was in fact safe, unfortunately it worked and I slowly began to grown extra hair between my ears. Due to the fact that I was an animal and not a human the hair grew much slower than it would have on a human so I have never had to cut it, only groom. This caused a slight problem but it was also my escape, one of the younger and newer scientist always scoured the new dog cages for animals that had been tested on and as a result came out looking abnormal. One time he took home a dog with a blue muzzle due to a side effect of some bllueberry flavored chapstick. As soon as he saw me and my extra hair he snatched me up and I was out of there forever. This was only the beginning of my problems. I grew up rather people aggresive, whether it was because of my wolf blood or the treatment the humans had given me I don't know but I had never liked humans. This resulted badly when his eldest daughter tried to pet me and I growled at her. Luckily I was only kicked out onto the streets and not destroyed. Roughly a month after I was first put out on the streets and I was already near death. Turns out one of the side effects of the hair syrum I was injected with was blindness. I couldn't hunt, couldn't scavenge and my hair that was now just long enough to flop around caused people to shy away from me. I was alone.
Until another human came and rescued me. I will never forget her and I will always love her for taking me in, even if her brothers were quite strange I owed her my life and still do. But she is gone now, that doesn't mean that I can't tell you what she did for me however.
She was the daughter of a flourist that had immigrated to the U.S. from France and her whole family spoke very little English, her brothers were better than her and she was better than her mother. Her name was Marie.
I would have made a huge mistake and rejected this human as well if it weren't for the fact that I was half dead and unconsious when she found me. When I awoke in the back room of the flower shop, which was also where the small family of four lived, I was so surrounded by warmth and beautiful smells that I didn't bother to attempt to muster the strength to be afraid, I fit in almost immidiately. Soon after I awoke Marie found me, still weak and curled up in the makeshift bed of blankets and old pillows they had created. My bed was nicer then theirs by far. Her lack of knowledge of the English language gave her very few choices as far as names for me. However when people asked her to describe the strange new dog that lived in the back room of the flower shop she answered with the word Bliss. I was her Bliss and she was my healer as well as my new and dearest friend. I owed her my life. After a few scares because they did not realize I was blind we all settled in and I became comfortable in my new family.
I became the mascot of the flower shop.
Due to my new title as mascot, Marie took it upon herself to make me a sort of costume. To curb the strangeness of my hair, Marie made me a little headband that fit perfectly and blended into my strange black hair, it had grown out and curved neatly around my face. The little headband adorned a white rose that was made of material out of one of her favorite skirts, she made it so the flower would never die. Marie's spirit lives on in that flower...
Ehem, anyway, the marks on my face and back are reminants of her older brother, he was a great artist and strived to become a tattoo artist, I was his first customer. The ink bled into my fur and as my fur grew back from the incisions of the needle, so did the markings he created.
Her brother, who's name I never knew, soon became a very talented tattoo artist and he had many customers that came into the flower shop to show off their beautiful markings. However one day the brother made a mistake on one of his clients, he apologized greatly and refunded the whole ordeal as well as payed for the removal of the tattoo. But this particular client happend to be second in command in a local gang that was the main cause of crimerates in their area.
He took the mess up personally and less than two months later my family was killed.
I escaped just because I had accidentaly gotten out in the street and got lost in the winding roads and alleys. By the time I made it home the police had arrived and I could smell the stench of death even over the scent of the flowers. Before the police could catch me I ran, I ran as fast as I could through the streets until once again I collapsed and was found for the last time. By Rue...
(That is, if I get Rue which I am strongly hoping I do)
