Ah, well in the amazing America (I will not apologize for my patriotism, but I do apologize if I come off as rude). We put our hands on our hearts and say "I pledge allegiance to the United States of America. To the republic, for which it stands, one nation under God, one and indivisible." Then in most states there is a moment of silence. However, in the oh-so-great Texas, you say another. "Honor the Texas Flag, I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas. One state under God, one and indivisible." With your hand out like swearing an oath. Then the moment of silence.
