The effect of the poppy seeds had dulled slightly due to their use, but as with all sleep-inducing treatments, they tended to linger after waking. Especially since she'd woken quite early. She stifled a yawn and stretched her limbs out in front of her, tail curling over her back paws. "Did you use dock?" she mewed drowsily, not really thinking before she spoke. "I'm tired, but only because of the poppy, I'd think. Thank you." She sounded amused as she spoke, though the reason itself didn't seem to register exactly.

Willowkit she muttered to herself before another pang gripped her belly and the second kit was born, this one was a tom "he will be mudkit because of his dirt collard fur" finally the last kit was born. "Dewkit, another she-kit"

Cedarclaw heard Mooneye, he hurried to the nursery. As soon as the kitting was over with he entered. He saw three kits together. "Congratulations, Mooneye." He muttered just loud enough to make out. Would he have kits of his own one day? Cedarclaw had just become deputy, now wasn't the time to think about that.
