He padded up to Moonstar and laid down. The wind was cold at night, though welcoming. The Moon shone high with the stars in the sky. It was a nice night out.

The leader smiled lightly before turning to SandLeap. MoonStar blushed gently and looked away before inching closer to SandLeap. She gently placed her head against his shoulder, still facing the opposite direction.

When Moonstar placed her head on his shoulder he gently purred. He wrapped his tail around Moonstar and looked up at the sky briefly.

Birdpaw

Birdpaw was able to catch a glimpse of Dewpaw pad into the apprentice den. His ears instantly perked up as he swiftly bounded towards the den, slipping through the entrance. He padded towards Dewpaw and chirped,"Hey Dewpaw!".

"Yea it is, not as beautiful as you though." He purred towards Moonstar.

MoonStar chuckled lightly at SandLeaps words."I could never be as beautiful as the night sky." She murmured quietly before giving SandLeap a light nudge at the cheek."There's a small path around here. Mind going for a quick run?" MoonStar offerd with a light smile.

She turned around and looked at Birdpaw. "Oh hey Birdpaw." She said softly her tail still low. She still felt down after hearing about Whitepaw. She padded over to her nest but sat down where she could still see Birdoaw. "So how was the patrol?" She asked curling her tail around her paws.

"If you want, it would be nice to have a little run around." The sand tom meowed and looked around the small clearing. It was empty apart from them and some trees surrounding it.
