Shiver raised her head, her ears pricking. The rain had made it somewhat hard, but she picked up the scent of a group of strange cats. She opened her mouth wide, trying to pick up on anything more precise.

She thought that there was one, but there seemed to be a small group of cats traveling together, all of them carrying a similar scent. She groaned as she lifted herself up, her joints creaking as she attempted to head out of her crevasse. She stuck her head out, trying to eye her surroundings in search of the strangers.

"Hello," she tentatively meowed in practice. Her voice sounded much more hoarse than she expected, and she stiffened in case these cats were unfriendly.

Russetstorm had heeded the falling night and let his eyes do most of the leading, keeping behind Troutsplash but a step or two ahead of the other two cats. His ears were pricked and alert and he heard tentative pawsteps near them before seeing the she-cat rogue. She didn't carry the scent of the cat they were tracking, but an outsider was an outsider. Lip curling back slightly, the russet tom fluffed his nape a little bit and gazed briefly at the deputy for advice, usually he was headstrong but against cats he was unfamiliar with, it was best to let authority do its thing.

Softberry darted out of the den when Cougar began to hack out his stomach, gazing around for a few seconds and then placed a soft paw on his back. First, anything that was in him had to come out. Sometimes that was the source itself, a bad piece of fresh kill left in the sun too long. "It could be that you're hungry too. Or the humans have been tampering with water." The medicine cat mused to herself in thought, then got to her paws. I'll get honey to soothe his throat, and then get to Flameclaw.

He took a small mouse from the preypile and ate, watching the other cats around camp with wide and alert eyes. larkpelt was a strange tom since he was alert all the time and never comfortable. Never relax. You never know. was his everyday motto. larkpelt flicked his ear and glared at the cloudless sky.

As he ran from her she quietly whispered. "No please......" She wanted him to stay here but it was useless as he had left her. She stood up and looked over her shoulder she then fixed her gaze on the ground and padded to camp. She sighed before starting to slowly drag her paw on the dirt several times.
