He smiled at her and batted her whiskers lightly. Anyone would think he was flirting, but that was just him being friendly. He nodded and curled up, resting his head on his paws.

He blinked and looked away. "I will be ugly forever?" he asked and sniffed. "I better live with it..." he meowed and sat down. Should I have anything else before I leave soon?" he asked and licked his paw, rubbing his face.

She smiled. "Sorry Flowertail, I am so tired. I have to take a nap," she says as she lays next to Cougar. She curled up and yawned lightly before looking around again. "Wake me when you need me..." she says, and drifts off to sleep.

"Not ugly." Softberry corrected, pushing forward two poppy seeds. "Eat these. It'll make you sleepy but ease the shock and pain." The medicine cat knew that Halfpaw would be upset at her for not being able to fix his eye, but she didn't really show her upset with herself.

The ticked tabby female huffed a hum like cat sound as she glanced at the male again. She saw that Waterheart had a mouse, and tipped her head. She softly said "A mouse?" then saw the grass moving further down...She dropped into a crouch and crept forward, towards where the grass started to thin out to meet sand...

Lakefurtags; Skypaw

Lakefur turned to face his apprentice. "Alright. I'm going to teach you an attack and a defensive move to use against said attack. It's a fairly simple attack, but effective. Really it's just a matter of balance," Lakefur paused to make sure his apprentice was listening, "Rear up on your hind paws, and slam your paws down on the shoulders of your opponent!" Lakefur demonstrated, sending wet sand flying. Spitting some out of his mouth he continued, "Make sure your opponent is weakened and won't tackle you. Try on me," he instructed, even though he was much larger than Skypaw.

Shadepawtags; Cedarpaw

Shadepaw nodded, "Alright, let's head to the falls then." The dark tom was still a bit worried that he would be needed while he was gone but loved hunting and was glad he had a friend to go with. "Do you think the rain will scare away any prey?" he asked. Shadepaw knew the rain would make it harder to scent prey, he just hoped there would be prey.

He smiled a little as he glanced at his mentor whom turned to face him. He shook his head as he dipped it down a moment, then nodded as he glanced at his mentor again. He huffed softly as he listened to what the other male was saying. He said softly "Rear up on hind paws, slam paws down on shoulders of my opponent..." He nodded again as he lifted his ears a bit. "Make sure they are weakened..." He crouched a bit, then walked forward to face Lakefur. He reared up before him, slammed his front paws down, and they came down a bit off of his shoulders...

Cedarpaw- developing crush on Shadepaw- Shadepaw
She shook out her spotted Calico pelt as she glanced at the other Apprentice, then huffed as she nodded at the dark furred Tom. She hummed a bit to herself as she tipped her head to the side and smiled. She shrugged as she said "I don't know, but it will definitely make it harder to smell the prey..." she sighed. She jumped as she heard a call of "Hey!" and spun round.

Squeakpaw- no crush yet- Cedarpaw and Shadepaw
The pretty little white and browned tabby she cat with the odd marking on her back half, huffed and sighed a cat's sound as she trotted round looking for something to do. She snorted as she saw her sister going off with that apprentice, Shadepaw was his name? Shaking her head, she stalked them stealthily, then called "Hey!" and was satisfied when Cedar span round.

Ravenpaw- never- Stormpaw
The young black and white tom decided to go to the Healers den. He needed medicine for the cold his brother had. "Softberry?" he mewed softly. "Tinypaw? Splashpaw?"

The young tom huffed again, then smiled as Whispering Night responded to his almost quiet call out to her. He loved those amber eyes of hers, even as they may have the ability to see within his soul (me: of course they don't, silly!), but even as disconcerting as that should be it did not bother him in the least. The tom smiled as he nodded and said "Hello. Would you like to...hang out, or something?"

He slowly took the seeds and ate them. "Thanks Softberry!" he says and pads out of the den. 'I just need some place to lay and cry...' he thought, sniffing. He padded out of camp and to the Falls, and looked at his reflection. "I say ugly..." he hissed.

He stayed awake, restless. All the scents were so confusing. Even the fresh kill smelled different. He didn't notice his stomach growling.

Flowertail watched the two play silently, secretly wishing she could join in. The she-cat quickly pushed away her thoughts. A clan cat playing with some loners? No way, they'd surely send her on her way. "Oh- that's fine, I guess." Flowertail murmured as Summer laid down to sleep. The she-cat heard Cougar's belly rumble. "You'd like something to eat, I suppose."

Softberry flattened her ears once alone in the den and sighed, gazing at the walls that had strange markings on them. With a soft mew, she stepped out of the den and sat at the entrance. More and more cats were hurt, and she kept failing. There had to be a reason why.

Lovino fell out of the tree after feeling some cat touch his tail. He fell on his face and gave a hiss at the cat who did touch his tail and mistakes it for prey.

Tinypaw looked over at the rodent and gave a small nod. He was nervous in failing in front of the she cat. He shook his head before getting into a hunters crouch and started to stalk to the rodent. He made sure his tail was above ground and that he keeping silent. Getting close enough he leaped up and sank his claws into the rode before sinking his fangs into its neck making the killing blow. Lifting his head back up he faced Crowpaw holding the small creature in his jaws.

He raised his head off his large paws and nodded sheepishly. He always felt terrible taking prey from others. He slowly sat up and all the sudden felt sick. Cougar cringed, digging his claws into the ground. It must have been the rain! He wasn't used to it at all.
