Alright, for anyone who is interested, I am planning an event for sometime in October. My hope is to somehow raise awareness of betta fish abuse and neglect by large companies and ignorant buyers, so I want to make it pretty large. I will be looking for sponsors for prizes and such, and I want the event to last a pretty long time (about six months or so) to really get the word out there. If anyone is interested, post any questions/comments/concerns here so we can discuss it as a community, as I would love any and all input you have. I dont expect it to be easy to get a large crowd considering how small this adopt is and how new it is to CS, but I really wanna get the ball rolling here.

I am definitely interested. I love Betts fish and have been owning them for years. I recently had my giant Half moon dumbo male beta die of old age. RIP Shou. He was a Salamandar coloration and so pretty, he looked like the beta in the upper right corner of your poster.

Spreading the word is the best thing possible right now ^^ Im hoping to attract a larger crowd before the event starts, get some really devoted members in the community.

Im running a thing right now where anyone who makes a stamp/advert/giftlines for the adopt gets a custom, so hopefully that will help!

We also still need a fanclub ^^'
