"No, bella you can't go yet." Lovino whined crawling back to the she cat and nuzzled her again. He wasn't going to let her go easily unless she said they could meet again. Lovino couldn't let go of such friends beauty this easily. "Maybe.... We could meet tonight at the border? I understand if you say no but, you're so kind and no one if this kind to me. Everyone hates me but not you Softberry."

"As long as they don't take my nest. Alright I'll get the nests started. They better be sick or injured because I ain't letting any cat without a reason into this den to take a nest." Tinypaw spat before padding back in and stared to pamper up two nests.

Softberry gazed back down at the slightly smaller tom when he pressed against her, knowing that she'd have to explain the scent to everyone once she got back. Though the molly was known for her willingness to help any cat, so perhaps not. Clingy little cat, isn't he? The thick furred medicine cat thought with amusement, gazing back in the direction of the camp. "I can't leave the camp at night, coyotes and other large predators would make a meal of a cat like me. I can't fight anything bigger than a trapdoor spider." Also, sneaking out to meet a rogue - what a terrible idea for any Clan cat, let alone a medicine cat.

The ebony molly couldn't stop herself from throwing back her head and letting out a loud chortle at the little tabby and her disgusted expression. She laughed for a while longer, but slowly the laugh dwindled to a soft snorting chuckle as she pawed the mousebile closer to her. Flarepaw found the tick she'd been searching for in Noeyes' thin, blue fur, cracked it, and spit it on the ground. The large-eared, emerald-eyed female then purred, cuffing Silverkit gently over the ears, "That's mousbile... Don't worry, you'll learn not to touch it. Well, at least until you become an apprentice and start elder duty like me. And, oh, Silverkit, there's no need for you to help. Not until you're six moons old - then you'll be free to lend a paw all you want. Besides, I'm nearly done with Noeyes' cleaning over here, right Noeyes?"

Hawkcry - Warrior of DesertClan - Tomcat - 21 moons - Tags; Batpaw (OPEN!)

The dark brute had to restrain himself from letting out a mild chuckle.. He had to admit, the long-legged, ebony apprentice looked rather amusing as he toppled to the ground, squeaking pitifully all the way. Hawkcry was tempted to ask, as Batpaw regained his footing and limped back to him, if he was done yet, if he was ready to yield, but the tom looked willing to try again. Not ready to give up, eh? Feisty, hard-headed, and a stubborn one.. All good traits for what is to come.
He also seems to be rather beat-up and exhausted.. all because I keep knocking him down. Poor Batpaw has to learn how vulnerable he really is to having a cat shunt him over - he has going hearing, but it isn't enough to save him with every fight. He's rather easy to trip with those long legs of his, but enough with making him fall and feel miserable for now.
Hawkcry dove forward then, stopping before the turqoise-eyed male and rearing up on his hind legs. Still balancing himself above Batpaw, he meowed, "Let's try something standing up. As you probably know, this move is for cats with strong legs, and you have them. Rear up, then."

Noeyes - Elder of DesertClan - She-cat - 89 moons - Tags; Cactusfoot, Flarepaw, and Silverkit (OPEN!)

Noeyes continued to eat her hare, chuffing under her breath as she heard Silverkit's tiny, squeaking complaints of distaste as she picked up the wad of mousebile. When Flarepaw asked if she was finished, the Russian blue stood, shaking out her pelt, and when she felt no more parasites embedded in her skin, she purred, "You're free to go. Move onto Cactusfoot now. Once you're done with him I'll let you do as you please, and if your father has a problem with you leaving camp or getting up to your normal shenagins, he can talk with me."
She picked up the remains of her hare then, ready to go dispose of it outside the camp. Noeyes hoped when she returned she'd have a fresh nest awaiting her, as Spottedpaw had seemingly disappeared. With a nod of her head towards where she thought Siverkit, Flarepaw, and Cactusfoot to be, she ducked out of the den and entered the gently-raining world beyond.

Scorchstar - Leader of DesertClan - Tomcat - 38 moons, 8 lives left - Tags; Sunpaw, Thistle, Venom, and Cobrasong (OPEN!)

Scorchstar ducked his head, letting the golden and white apprentice pass with the two rogues at his heels. He turned back to the waiting Cobrasong, studying her for a heartbeat or so before meowing apologetically, "I'm sorry, Cobrasong. Whatever you wanted to speak with me about will have to wait for another time.. I've got a lot on my mind. You have my apologies." The angular, tall tom blinked solemnly at the ruddy-hued molly before trotting off to the Oasis lake.
He arrived there quickly, moving fast through the drizzle of rain that mercifully hadn't ended yet. When he reached the small pond-like hold of water, he dunked his muzzle into the now-cool, dark liquid, gulping until his hearts content.

Jackalhowl looked up at the mention of the she-cat speculation that Grassroots could've lived against such impossible odds. Perking up a bit at Wisperingnight's carefully chosen words, the older brute eyed her warily, with something like hope freckled in those wide eyes of his, "You really think he could've survived? I never saw him resurface.. I guess we can only hope that he'll return to us someday. But still.. it's been so long - if he was alive, why hasn't he returned yet?"

He shot up before meowing, "I can keep you safe! I'm not scared of any old darn predators. Please Softberry, just one night is all I ask." Lovino sat back down knowing that she would say no but it didn't hurt to ask again.

Softberry's whiskers twitched slightly, she knew this story. She'd met many a cat who had met a rogue who asked for 'just one night'. It turned into every few phases of the moon, and then suddenly there was a queen in the nursery with no father, or some kits 'found' somewhere on the territory, and a tom looking extremely proud of those he'd 'discovered'. "I'm afraid I have to decline. While medicine cat's friendships stretch over the borders of territory, they cannot expand much further than that. A Clan cat can't be close with a rogue, in any kind of friendship, like they can a clanmate."

He sighed and gave her a nod before he gave her a small nuzzle and padded away. Stopping in his tracks he looked behind and meowed, "Then, maybe in the day sometime? That's a not isn't it? Okay." Lovino then proceeded forward with his head lowered to the ground. As usual not even his crush wanted to see him. He probably acted to much like a kit to impress her. Once out of sight from Softberry Lovino slapped himself for being so stupid. He didn't know that he had crossed the border into the clan and didn't know he was going deeper and deeper.
