Swallowpaw grew quiet. The was almost embarrassing that she hadn't. The she-cat hadn't tussled with Sunpaw as a kit. He was always too busy playing with the others, leaving her to stay in the nursery and watch. She was always too shy to go up and ask to play, fearing that she'd be rejected. At last, Swallowpaw meowed a quiet. "No."

"Let's just get back to camp." Waspclaw meowed, shaking his pelt, which the rain was sticking to in small drops. His pace was average, and his shoulders rolled as he walked.[/color]

"Scorchstar, our leader." Sunpaw replied. The tom spotted his leader and padded over, trying to look courageous. "Scorchstar, I'm sorry to interrupt, but you have visitors who'd like to speak to you."

Flowertail heard Whiteclaw's call and called to her apprentice,"Halfpaw, let's go!" Before running after Whiteclaw. She caught up in a quick moment and dipped her head in a simple greeting.

"I didn't say he was perfect. I just know Scorchstar wouldn't have a conversation with a cat, just to send him away. You must have said something." I hiss slightly, lashing my tail. My green eyes are narrowed into a glare as the moment of joy fades. I watch as Snow stays seated in the mouth of the den. Strange. Most desert cats love the rain considering how rare it is. But not you. I give my pelt a shake, freeing it of water droplets that are quickly replaced by more. "Come on Snow. We should have left by now, and I have no patiences left for waiting around."

Dustspeck nodded, relieved to feel the cool rain soak into his pelt. He felt his stomach grumble as the smell of fresh kill caught his nose.

Thistle and Venom sat side by side, their pelts bristling nervously as they looked up towards the other cat.

Tinypaw was laying down in his nest inside the medicine cats den wishing that being a medicine cat wasn't this boring. Hearing Flarepaw come in calling for Softberry he knew he should tell her that the medicine cat wasn't here. Standing up then small apprentice padded up to Flarepaw and meowed, "Softberry isn't here right now. So you need mousebile correct?" He might as well become useful being an apprentice if his mentor wasn't here at the moment.

She bowed her head back. "Hey." She simply mewed mewed not knowing how to start a conversation.

Flarepaw - Apprentice of DesertClan - She-cat - 9 moons - Tags; Tinypaw (OPEN!)

The ebony, bat-eared she-cat flinched slightly as the grey and white little tomcat slid out of his nest and greeted her. "Hey, Tinypaw.. Great StarClan, you startled me out of my fur!" She blinked her wide, emerald eyes, settling her bristled fur and adding, "Yes, I need mousbile for the elders.. I have to care for them today. Again."

"Sorry for startling you then. Hold on just a second I'll be right back." Tinypaw replied before he padded to where the mousebile was stored. Getting a piece of moss he cringed up when getting a whiff of the foul smell. He held his breath before grabbing some and placed it on the moss and padded back. Nudging the moss to Flarepaw he then almost immediately dashed out of the den and out of camp to wash his paws and get some fresh air. Mousebile had to be the worst medication that he had to deal with in the den. He always tried figuring out other remedies that wouldn't stink but also make ticks fall off but there was nothing.

The poor molly resisted the urge to slap a dainty paw across her face, yelp, and rocket out of the den. She had to handle mouse bile a lot, actually, since she tended to Noeyes and Cactusfoot many a time, but that didn't mean she'd ever grow used to the stink of it. Crinkling her little black nose and carefully, cautiously, grabbing the bundle in her teeth, Flarepaw called out, her voice high-pitched, to Tinypaw as she followed him out of the den, "Thank you!"
Eager to set down the moss as it was making her eyes water and her teeth probably rot, the oriental shorthair streaked off to the elders' den. She didn't think she'd been touched by a single raindrop, she'd gone so fast!

The male eventually made it to the falls and leaped in to get all the foul scent off of him. He wasn't aware of the tension already at the falls and basically if he did, ignored it. Tinypaw soon padded out after a few minutes of soaking in the falls and shook his fur out. Grooming it he decided to spend a good few more minutes out here. It wasn't a daily privilege to spend time out of the medicine cats den and he may as well enjoy it while he can. [[ open ]]
