Thanks . Pearl is actually real . She's my pet, and her kind of rat is called a 'Dumbo Rex' because their ears get so big . She's holding a cookie because it shows how she steals things that she's not supposed to .

I want a mouse or a rat but I would probably get two because they are social animals and like to be with others ^^

I know this because I saw rats for sale at Pets At Home and all the rats were curled up around each other or sleeping on top of each other XD

Oh, I've always just had one at a time. The first one we got was named Betsy. She was just a white one. Well, we got her because my brother's class was doing experiments or something with these lab rats. And then, when they were done, people got to take them home, and we were some of the lucky people who did . But of course, life goes on and now we have Pearl .

But yeah at Petco all the rats were together. Pearl was the only Dumbo, the rest were white. But my mom loves rats now, and she wants more, but she says they're a lot of hard work .
