Hello there! I see you're from outta town. This is little ol Kin City. It revolves around our native species the Kit-Kin. They are quite hardy, and can live days without food or water. Although, they do have a tendency to get in the worst of trouble, somehow they can get away with only a few scratches, but you don't really want this to happen though, especially if you have a show kit.. Just like cats, these animals are independent, so don't expect them to be as good listeners as dogs. Their memory is spectacular, and can be taught anything fairly quickly. This can be used badly for those taken to fights, and have been taught to kill their kind. These poor animals are vicious, but are very loyal, more than a non-fighter Kit.

Welcome! The only reason you would be here is to get a Kit, correct? I thought so.

Every week, we go out and find a litter of cubs that are still together. We then bring them back to tame them. The litters are normally between 3 and 5, but sometimes we get tons of them! Don't worry, this is all safe and humane. We keep enough in the wild that they won't go away, but sometimes people do get greedy and want the whole litter for themselves..

This is the center of the town. All the marketers come here to trade or sell their kits! You can too at this street. Now, just behind this center, is a forest, where the kits live. You can release your Kit-Kin into the forest, and let it have a chance at a happy life. It will be found again later, but also probably have produced offspring! Maybe in the weekly litters, you can find what your Kit made. You do not have ANY rights to these kits at all.

Now over here, we have our Second Chance stand. They find kits that have been abandoned, or neglected on the streets. Most people call it the pound in other cities, but they keep them here, and let them roam freely. There is a 10 Dew Drop fee to adopt, so the center can keep going! It also pays for any medical attention that other Kits, or that Kit needs/needed.

If we make our way over here, we have a few stands with banners saying "Raffle!" or "Best Art Wins!" This is where all raffles and contests are held. Raffles normally consist of new varations of Kit-Kins, or care packages. Care packages? They can range anywhere from costumes, to an extreme amount of expensive breeding items. Contests are mainly for Show Kits, but can also be a large sum of Dew Drops, or any other item. Once in awhile, there will be Kit-Kins too!

This is the main KKPFS center! What does KKPFS stand for? Kit-Kin Pet Finders Society. They keep the population of Kits, tamed and wild under control. They do breedings, customs, forest openings, and rehomings. Down there are little stations of each thing, and how to do it. Forms are at the end of post, so don't forget to pick one up!!

Breeding

There are three different types of breeding, open, closed, and profit. Open breedings are free to the public! You choose which kits are being kept, and the rest of the litter is a first come first serve adoption. They have three days to be adopted, and if they are not, they will be released into the rehoming center, for a later adoption. Closed adoptions are just between you, and if you have one, and your partner. Finally, a profit breeding is just what it sounds like. You breed your Kit-Kins, then sell their offspring to different owners. You can choose your price, but if they are not sold after a week, they will become yours, and will go under the trade cooldown. Also, you can have sponsors. They may provide you with extra materials, and may have a pick of the litter if they want.

Wanna know exactly HOW to breed? You can own both of the Kits, or just one. No matter if you have both or not, you need two majestic feathers, and a cost of 20 dew drops. The parents must be male and female. No male x male or female x female. You may add enhancements, but if you do not own both, your partner must agree. Most litters are 2-5 cubs(If there are two people, it will be an even number). Unlike normal cats, the males will take care of the female caring his offspring. He will protect the mother until the cubs are fully grown, and she does not need his care anymore.

Once the pair has been sent in for breeding, the mother and father will build a nest of feathers, including the two you gave them. You can buy a nest to speed up the process. The better the nest, the less time you have to wait. This takes about a week if you don't give them a nest. Then, when the nest is done, the mother will spend a week relaxing, as little baby kits grow! During this, the father will be getting food. You can help him out by giving him some, and this will increase the chance of more kits. Finally, the kits have come! If you have two people, you may decide who keeps which. The family will not be taken out for three days, as the cubs grow very quickly. If taken out before, one or both of the parents has a 25% chance of leaving with a cub. (One cub per PARENT. Max of 2 cubs taken) The parents will return a week later, but with the cubs is also a 25% chance.

Above the parents, there will be a little "note"of what stage the parents are in, and how much more time until the cubs are ready to be taken out. The parents do not mate for life, and can be bred again in 30 days (a month)

Before you actually do breed, if one of the parent's isn't yours, I need the other owner to confirm. You need to tell me who is paying, or if you're splitting it. If you are planning to use any nests, foods, or anything, check with your partner to make sure it is okay.

Kit-Kins obtained from litters can breed 1 week after you get them. Wild ones, on the other hand, need to wait 2 weeks before breeding.

The scientists at the KKPFS have dicovered a way to create a Kit-Kin the way you want it! These Kits, before modified, can only be bred. There is no way to get them in the wild, unless one happens to escape. Anyway, this technology isn't too advanced, so they can only color it, and add features that have already been discovered. (Ex: Cat-Tailed). Some other minor features, such as a pointed tail, can also be done even if it isn't discovered, it just takes a little longer. It can take you up to a week to get your custom, depending on how difficult it is. If you want your custom to be a Show Kit, you can choose how high two stats are. If you do want it to be a Show Kit, please put in "Other" what two stats you would like, and how high they are. (Note, you can only go up to 10 without training)

The cost of these are 200 Dew Drops, since it is so hard to breed them and the technology used is expensive.

This place is for Kit-Kins whose owners could not take care of them anymore. Now, why isn't this place in the Rescue Center? Well, I'll tell you why. The Rescue Center is for owners who own more than two Kits, and can tame the wild Kit. Rehoming is free, and you can have any number of kits! These are already tame, but they do not have the breeding cooldown, since they have already gone through it. They still do have the trade cooldown though
