"Hawkcry came over earlier today and he seemed a little roughed up..." Splashpaw said with a shrug. She didn't want to seem too nosy. "I went back to the nest before I learned much else. Other than that, I honestly don't know what happens outside of the medicine cat den."

She rubbed one of her eyes with a paw. She wanted to stay awake until Owlflight left, just in case Softberry needed them for anything else. Best not to head back to sleep quite yet.

She decided now was a good opportunity to talk to Tinypaw about the kits, "So... What's it like, helping with kits? Are they a lot of work?"

"Kits? I've never worked with them but I do know a lot about kitting." Tinypaw answered. He did want kits himself but at the same time he had to stay loyal to the medicine cat code and over love and the code he would pick the code every time no matter how hard it was.

Softberry kept quiet while listening to the two younger apprentices speak. Youthful cats usually stuck around each other and moonhigh seemed a perfect time for them to bond. Huffing out a soft breath of amusement, the thick furred molly decided that a few more minutes of talking and then she'd send them to bed. I'm not too much older than them myself, perhaps a mere thirty moons. That's nothing in the span of time. Softberry tilted her head back and gazed at the sparkling stars far away, exhaling and watched a tiny wisp of her breath get caught and tugged away. Green eyes slowly closed and she purred gently, feeling the rumble deep in her throat.

Splashpaw thought about the the responsibility of having her own kits. Luckily, she wouldn't have to think too seriously about that since she was a medicine cat apprentice. She could get her fill of kitting with Softberry and Tinypaw. She figured that she could fulfill any mothering instinct that she would have in the future with her responsibilities.

The light gray brown darker brown and tan ticked spotted and tabby striped she cat tipped her head as she watched the rabbits. It was as though she were gauging their movements and assessing them. She smiled as she nodded at the tom, and then she stalked forward. She leaped, bringing one to the ground and biting the neck.

"If I ever do become a father but of coarse I know I never will, I don't think I would be a good one. That's good because I rather stay loyal to my clan then having to feed a family." Tinypaw meowed before he started to groom himself up.

"Good job." Graywhisker complemented with a small smile. He was happy that he didn't have to yell at Doestep about that her crouch was too off or anything else. [[ writers block. ]]

Quailfeather breathed a sigh of relief when Owlflight took notice of Crowpaw. Assured that the night-black apprentice would be taken care of, the warrior went to lay down outside the warriors' den. She wasn't quite ready to sleep, and she didn't want to disturb the cats who were trying to rest with her own restlessness. She laid her head on her paws, silver and white pelt fluffed up against the cool, somewhat chilly breeze.
