The handsome orange and white tiger tabby male huffed and snorted as he watched his sister for a moment, then shook his head. He sighed, making the sound the equivalent of a human hum, but was a cat's sound. Shaking his head, he said "Doe Step, don't be such a kit..." as he watched her wriggle her hips and pounce at a butterfly.

The pretty little light gray brown, darker brown, and tan ticked tabbied and spotted she cat shook her head as she stared off at a butterfly. She blinked her eyes once or twice, then shook her head as she crouched. She wriggled her hips and pounced at the butterfly, then watched as it flew off up, up and away. Huffing, she turned to her half brother in annoyance, ears flicking back and tail lashing. Snorting, she squared her shoulders and threw a careless "I am going to find Graywhisker!" back over her shoulder as she stalked off. "Graywhisker?" she called.

The male cat was just laying down resting for a bit. He awoke when hearing his name being called and followed to where the voice came from. He eventually found Doestep and the warrior padded up to her. "Hello there Doestep. Anything I can help you with?" Graywhisker asked.

Softberry stepped back when Hawkcry began to speak with Dogtail, turning her attention to where the leader's den was outside of her den. Her paws were itching with curiosity to find out what was being said, but she could surely wait. Leaders always consulted with their medicine cats when something major happened in the Clan, and Scorchstar was no fool - he knew that the thick-furred molly's eyes could see further than this plain. She was the main access to StarClan.

Splashpaw woke up due to a commotion. Confused, she stretched out her front paws and kneaded the ground beneath her.

'I should at least do a quick lap around the den since I'm awake.' She thought to her self while rolling her shoulders.

She saw Pearly, who was fast asleep. She winced at the memory of her first sunburn. Softberry hadn't been able to give her as much aloe vera as she had wanted. Having known that herbs were rare in this environment, she did her best to keep quiet. In order to get rid of the phantom pain, she sat down and licked one of her paws a few times to bring herself out of the recollection.

Her ear twitched at an unfamiliar sound. She walked towards the source, which turned out to be Dogtail's new kits. She wanted to go over and ask if she could help, but this would be her first time working with kits... She wanted Softberry to be with her so she wouldn't do anything wrong.

Softberry's voice drifted her way as Hawkcry and her parted ways. Splashpaw waited for Hawkcry to pass before walking over to Softberry.

Softberry's ear twitched when she heard soft paws padding near her and she swiveled her head to gaze at her second apprentice, Splashpaw. "Did you have a nice nap? I'm sure, as you can tell, Dogtail has had her kits and we've got Hawkcry and an ex kittypet staying with us." The thick-furred molly purred and kept her mind off of the situation with her leader and Snow. Dogtail had been right, there were a lot of cats outside the Clan coming in...perhaps it truly was an omen.
