Story for Sadie the lab:
When I was a child, I was hugged, played with, bathed and roam around free
When I was a child I would play in the sea
When I was a child I could chase balls and twigs, newspapers and leaves
When I was a child I was adored, well cared for and spoiled
When I was a child I would gallop throught the wistling breeze
When I was a child I would sit in the tub waiting for a gush of the hose to come spilling out over me
Now I am old and I hardly can see
Now I am old and I am laughed at and teased
Now I am old, I am a footrest beneath your feet
Now I am old I am old I lay glued to the rug
Now I am old I stand lower than mud
Now I am old I am treated like old, ignored, despised and a burden to all. Now I am old, I am as good as dead
