"Indeed," Hickorygale meowed, happy to keep up the conversation with the slightly older warrior. He didn't keep close friends, especially close male friends, so he wasn't a big socialist.. but when cats got him to talk, he'd surely talk.. The homosexual tomcat was lonely at times, and often observed his Clanmates from afar. It was a are and special occasion with some cat meandered over to him to strike up a brief chitchat with the fluffy brute. "Sometimes I can't wait till I'm an elder.. it must be pretty nice, having younger cats run about and do your bidding while you tongue around and bask in the sun all day."

Hawktalon sat down upon hearing Nervis' s statement. I'll catch up with the patrol later. "I say you prove yourself to them and make them see. Take it straight from a former rogue; the clan is the best place to be. We hunt and protect each other. If you live to be old you get the dream life, and if your lucky even a few kits as a warrior," Hawktalon said with a wink. He's terrified. I hope my advice helps him, regardless. The she-cat smiled gently. "Don't be afraid, Nervis. You can ask me anything, really." She tilted her head. "I'll tell you about the clan first, since you'll need to know more about it then me." Quietrain licked her paw and drew it over her ear. "The clans were formed long ago, before any cat here was born. We've lived together in harmony for many, many moons, surviving off the land and such. There are several positions in our clan. We have a leader, and a deputy, who will become the leader when the old one dies or retires. Leaders have several lives- starting at nine, and they loose one every time they die. There are medicine cats, like me. We take care of the sick and injured, and we rarely partake in fighting or hunting."
