Waspclaw heard a rustled behind him and the meow of Hawkcry. The tom set down his prey and turned around, seeing his leader confronting the group. Waspclaw's eyes narrowed as he camly padded over to the group. His eyes met the white tom's and they glittered. "How long has he been hunting on our territory?" Waspclaw asked, his voice calm though dangerous.

Swallowpaw headed in no particular direction. "Have you even been to where the medicine cats visit StarClan?"

The thick-furred molly purred while expertly twisting her paws in the narrow hole, yanking out thick strands of sticky spiderwebs. These would have to sit in her den for a while to become cobwebs. "Well, Lovino's not bad yourself. Did your mother call you that, were you left by twolegs?" Namesake said a lot about a cat - especially warriors, for their names told who they were. The prefix for their looks, the suffix for their skills. Though of course a cat outside of the Clan wouldn't understand the two-part names. Her head tilted up curiously, pausing from taking the sticky silver webs.

Lovino grew silent when she mentioned the word mother. He didn't remember her nor did he want to remember her. He looked at the ground before muttering, "No.... I renamed myself to my current name." He had been a rouge for his whole life and he had never lived with twolegs. Since he had been born in the wild he didn't even know what a twoleg was due to the fact he had never encountered any. "Also, what is a twoleg?"

Softberry had heard of cats who renamed themselves, because their previous names reminded them of something bad or they simply didn't like it. She didn't pressure on what had happened but instead answered Lovino's question. "Twolegs are those big furless creatures that walk on two legs. They don't come here often so you may have never seen one before." The thick-furred molly finished getting out the sticky webs and set them in a ball beside her.

I leap down next to our leader, the reek of blood surrounding me. I glance over at Flarepaw, smelling a slight hint of rouge lingering on her pelt. I turn back to the three cats in front of me, I notice Hailpaw, and rush over to her, inspecting him frantically. "When I said you could have the day off from training, I didn't expect this?!" My heart is racing as I sniff my apprentice. I sigh, realizing she's not injured.

I watch as the three cats walk into the clearing. My sister inspects her apprentice, the worry in her eyes is obvious, the admiration for Scorchstar fading. I spot Flarepaw, and trot over to join her. "Hello Flarepaw." I smell some strange cat scent lingering on her pelt. "Off adventuring again?" I meow, a slight purr to my tone.
