Species Introduction

War Wolves are a post-apocalyptic asset. They are genetically engineered by the military for use on the surface, where radiation is dangerously high. They are trained from birth to wear a gas mask so they do not reject it in the future. Because of this early introduction, war wolves do not remove the mask except for eating and drinking and get increasing upset the longer the mask is removed. There are multiple aspects that make war wolves unique. Please read below.





Breeding

Original war wolves are first generation, created by the military using DNA from a variety of pre and post apocalyptic animals in America. Original war wolves with natural markings can be bred if sanctioned by the head scientist. There will be certain qualifying aspects required before a breeding can be sanctioned and will be approved on a case by case basis. Original war wolves with unnatural markings are sterile and cannot be bred.

Second generations war wolves are not sanctioned for breeding.

Litters will never have more than 3 pups.

Below are war wolves available for auction. Each War wolf comes with two art pieces; an adult image with the gas mask, and a puppy image without the gas mask. Due to the rarity of Originals with unnatural markings and the inability to breed these wolves, they will not be auctioned, but rather, they will be adopted out to suitable owners.

War Wolves For Adoption

On rare occasions, a War Wolf is produced that has unnatural markings. These wolves are fierce, strong, and loyal to a fault. However, they are also sterile and cannot be bred. Because of this, War Wolves with unnatural markings are not auctioned off, but rather, they are adopted out for free, to the most suitable owner. Take your chances as they come, for there are not many War Wolves created with unnatural markings, but... choose wisely, as you can only have one of these rare abnormalities.

Adoption Application & Agreement
If you are interested in adopting an unnatural War Wolf, please fill out the form below and post directly to this page to be considered for adoption. The entries will be judged at the end of the entry period and the top entry will be awarded ownership. New owner will be contacted by PM on end date and will have 48 hours to reply. If owner does not reply within 48 hours, the second best entry will be awarded ownership with the same 48 hour limit. This time limit shows me that you are in fact interested. Adopted War Wolves are NOT to be sold or given away under any circumstances. If you no longer want your War Wolf, you MUST return ownership to me (PM me). The War Wolf will be adopted out in the same manner as it was originally. War Wolves with unnatural markings will never be sold, only adopted.

I have the right to extend the entry period if I feel there were not enough entries.

Why Are You Interested In Owning This War Wolf? I found your war wolves more by accident than i really was looking for art. But the great realistic design caught me and i read through your pages and all the markings, tails, originals and the ones with special coloring and i love it all. I love post apocalyptic stuff anyways like for games, books etc. For a fan of the post apocalypse, a war wolf would be the jackpot! Especially as it is one of the rare colored ones.
Do You Have Plans For This War Wolf? Yes! I would love to roleplay with her, i have a great roleplay running with a RL friend of mine, mostly via "HipChat" if you know that. I would love to introduce her to that roleplay. But she would definitely also decorate my signature as well, she is just too pretty to be not shown just...everywhere.

What Do You Plan To Name Your War Wolf? Violetta
Does He/She Have A Story? It is in progress, but i imagine it that way that my-character-self (who lives in a destroyed town on the post apocalyptic earth together with other survivors) will get her as a gift from my father, as a puppy. My whole family has been hunters ever since and our town is currently attacked by creatures that live outside of the protecting walls. Every child gets trained to become a hunter and warrior. We actually played that way that the people in this town breed dogs to make them watch dogs so a war wolf would be a great partner for me when i go outside and fight to protect the town. As those war wolves are loyal and strong, it would be just perfect.
Does He/She Have Any Likes? She loves to do things right and impress me. She likes to scare away *cough* interested males that might come a bit too close to me. And she likes me of course.
Does He/She Have Any Dislikes? Men. Absolutely men. And if somebody touches her food. Seems like they are still wild inside, aren´t they?
