"Fine, I'll let you take one catch from here but i advise you that you will hurt the clan. That's the catch in taking our prey." Graywhisker added on. "We are all hungry here in the desert with scarce prey."

Blazepaw wondered around camp before she smelled two new scents coming from the medicine cats den. The female scampered over and padded into the den. Her emerald eyes looked at the two cats before she flicked her ear at them. "So, why are they here?" She asked the medicine cat.

The older tom's words made Sandystrike flush in embarrassment, putting her paws over her face. "B-be quiet you big furball!" The she-cat's tail flicked as he looked up at him. "And you'd better not be pulling my tail about that second part," she added in a mutter.

Rattlestorm looked at her in disbelief for a moment, not usually one to be offered a hunting trip. He smiled once he realized the offer was legit, nodding quickly. "Of course! Hunting for real is sure to beat hunting beetles by the oasis!"

He sniffed at the seeds given to him, not eating them yet as he heard Tinypaw say he wished to hear the story. Pearly was quick to jump at the chance to talk about his nofurs. "You wanna hear? I can actually tell you a lot," he replied hesitantly.

Pearly shrugged. "I don't mind telling. Well... I used to have really really nice nofurs. They took in two cats expecting kittens and everything." He stopped at a new cat's presence, but continued after a moment. "Then when they had kittens I was best friends with two of the kittens. But most of the others were taken away by other nofurs. Me, Jasper and Sea got to stay. But...then I got taken away, too. And the nofurs that got me were really mean...they didn't feed me much and never played...then a few days ago they brought me here and left me...I was hoping they'd come back, or that my old nofurs would find me, but they aren't coming..." He sighed and rested his head on his paws.
