Mmm, I remembered that I haven't gotten an adopt up in a while, so I decided to whip up a quick RPW before I head off to get some sleep. This will be a pretty simply contest! Just tell me this RPW's name, gender, and their pet. It can be a real animal or a fantasy creature! It's up to you! You may have no more than 500 words to describe the pet and/or how they got it. You may draw/get a picture of the pet as well. You may only have one extra and it is optional, but "prettying up" is encouraged and may boost your chances. Scolad loves rats. Loves loves loves them. It's no assumption to say that rats are his favorite animal. In fact, one might assume he owns several. Obsession is an understatement when talking about him.
So one would think it a bit odd that Scolad owns a cat.
Scolad owns a cat - a Maine Coon, specifically. He's owned that cat for quite a while - not quite as long as his obsession with rodents, but early enough in it that he could (somewhat) easily choose between the two. The cat's name is Khoshekh, and he (that cat, that is) doesn't do much but laze around the house.

Scorch found Solstice under a rock while he was fishing. Solstice's tail was stuck under a rock. Scorch helped heal Solstice's tail and in return, Scorch received a loyal friend.

Luya has a fasinaction with *fire-lizards, a form of dragon from the fictional planet of Pern. She got a scientist to create some for her, and now has one gold, two bronzes, three browns, five blues, and six greens all flying around her household. Gold and green fire-lizards are female, the former being the highest in all ranking, the latter, the lowest. Bronzes, browns, and blues are males. Bronzes are the highest in rank, browns, the second-highest, and blues, the lowest of the males.
Luya's female fire-lizards are gold Lady and greens Maya, Daisy, Madison, Shari, Samantha, Charley, and Lessa. Luya's male fire-lizards are bronzes Mendal and Lore, browns Coco, Dorian, Aaron, and Morell, and blues Emelio, Ocean, Doitsu, Jeki, and Blue.

Short Story

"...and then we told them to stop, but little Abra kept going, even though Byford stopped," finished Chill of Ice.
Luya shook her head. "Boys will be boys," she sighed. She rather liked Ice and her family, although the boys could be a little rough. Rema just told her to: "Ignore them and treat them like adults. Then they'll get the message." It was advice that was well-meant, though didn't always worked. The Rainbow Paint Wolf said her goodbyes to her friend, and walked home, a few blocks away. On her doorstep hovered Maya, one of her greens. She chirped and sped to her owner, clearly pleased. Luya checked the fire-lizard for any form of return message. None was found. Oh well. Mateo was shy, but Luya didn't expect how difficult it would be to convince him to see his daughter again.
