Romeo immediately awoke when smelling meat and crawled over to it. He brightened up and started to sniff it missing the taste of meat.

Blade looked at the tom. "Before you go into any place you need to study the terrain." She told him. "If you step on a stick or dry leaf it could blow your cover." She added. "Watch." She said as she walked away into a bush. She narrowed her eyes and looked over the place quickly before shooting out, darting silently across the clearing and going up a tree. "See?" She said. "If you are silent you can cross before they know you are there."

Ekua smiled. She saw the river up ahead and kept padding to it lightly. "Okay." Was all she said as she sat down by the river. "So what exactly happened with the battle?" She asked, bringing up a topic to break the silence.
