We are going to be updating our lines. The species will remain the same, but I believe it is time to get a new and improved GPE V2 going. I will be holding a contest to create the lines. With luck, the new lines will include more mane/tails styles and foals. All horn styles will be implemented, whether or not I have to add them in.
It is unclear when the revamp will take over, or if we get one at all. I have run into many problems with this set of lines. Some have asked for new mane styles, and I am unable to do so due to the limitations this one has caused. The body is not it's own lines. The mane, feathering, tail, and beard are all on one layer of lines. The horns are not lined to the base of the head, they are lines to go around the mane. This has made it difficult to make new manes due to my inability to match the lines properly.
If you have any opposition to the change, please let me know. We will be keeping the current lines until the new ones are ready, when, or if, they ever are. To put any fear to rest, please understand that the new GPE lines are only a carry-over of GPE. The GPE you already have will remain, and will still be able to breed with the new GPE. It is just time that I overhaul GPE. I believe they can be more than what they are now. It is my hope that more people will see them and want to be part of the slowly growing fan-base.
