(Sorry for the delay, everybody! I had a lot of stuff I needed to do; hopefully, though I'm back now!)
Engineer
The Texan was a bit taken aback by his reaction and his smile fell, the man looking with a confused expression on his face. All he did was smile, not point hypothetical eye-lasers at him. Maybe he'd committed a faux pas he didn't know about? He hadn't meant to be offensive.
"Er....I-I'm sorry?" He asked, startled, as Felice made a sound like he was pained.
With all the degrees he'd earned, all the years of schooling, he still couldn't figure the man out. Felice would do such kind things for the team, purchasing a long table for them all to be able to sit at, having towels at the ready when it started pour rain....but he was still unpredictable. He looked concerned as Felice brushed past him, scratching the back of his head and watching Felice retreat back into the kitchen, yowling like a wounded cat all the way into the other room.
He gave the remaining mercs in the hallway a quizzical, 'what-did-I-do-wrong' look, face flushed with slight embarrassment, before he decided to drop the subject for the time being. It had happened, so there wasn't much else he could do. Engineer cleared his throat awkwardly, and his smile managed to recover. He pushed his way into the dining room, leaving the door open for the rest of the crew, taking his seat at the table and laughing earnestly at the place setting for him. He didn't see any assigned seats for the rest of the mercs, but he took it with a grain of salt, and sat down, putting his napkin in his lap.
After most of the mercs had been seated, he raised a beer to them and offered a quick toast.
"We beat the BLU's back today; it was hard fought, but each and every one of you deserve to eat, drink, and be merry! ...To us!" He called over the rowdy crew. Those within earshot raised a glass, though people like solider babbled on about nonsense.
