Use: I need company for Lahria, and really want to get practise with drawing anthros... Well, I also had quite a nice idea for a story in mind, when I took a closer look at him.

Species and/or specific breed: Anthro Feline (Black Panther)
Personality:History/Background:On a planet far away from earth, animals developed in a different way. There was no evolution from ape to human, but lots of other species started to walk on two legs. First of them were big cat species and larger canine breeds. They developed to what we now call Anthro Felines and Anthro Canines. Since these two species were the first, they became the leaders.
Canines were the ones, starting to build houses, discover electricity and live a life as we know it now. Though they got even further. The Anthro Canines from Anatoy - thats the name of the planet - also discoverd space traveling. They are a futuristic culture now adays.
Felines though, preferred to stay with nature. They still hunt for their food with bow and arrow, or speer. They still build up tent like homes, they can move easily. Only some of their buldings are made of stone. And thats their temples. While Canines tend to live like we humans in cities, or in small villages, Felines tend to live in small groups with around twenty members. They still call those groups their "pride". Each pride is lead by either one individual, or a pair. When the current leader chooses a mate, they will lead as a pair. And their children will be the heirs. When the leader stays allone or a pair has no children, they choose a new leader through a fight.
Well anyways. Now that we kind of know, how things are going on this planet, lets take a closer look at what happened to one special Black Panther born Anthro Feline in this huge world.
In the jungle of Panos - one of Anatoys continentes - a small Anthro Panther was born. His father was the current leader of the pride and all the members came together to watch the new heir. His mother showed a small, all over black bundle to everyone who wanted to see it. She proudly announced that he would be called Vox and one day, he would be the new pride leader. Of course some of the others weren't that happy about having a heir in their pride now, but none of them allowed himself to say a word. A huge festival was held, to celebrate the birth of the new heir and to pray to the sun god Sollin for his blessing.
The years passed by, and Vox grew to a young little boy. He then was one of five children in this pride. Vinja was his younger sister. At the time our real story begins, she was six years old, while her brother Vox had turned eight. This was the year, where everything should change. Where destiny decided that Vox would never be the prides leader.
"Hey Vox! Lets go out and play a little.", Rukka shouted from outside the tent. Vox looked at his mother with an innocent face: "Might I go out and play with Rukka and Lex? We found some very cool trees not far from our homes, and we wanted to explore them a little more." His mother smiled. "Young ones," she thought, "they have so much energy." To her little boy she said: "Sure, just promise me to be careful. You are the prides heir, and we need you without any broken legs." He gave her a smile and answered: "I will of course be careful mother." Then he turned around and ran out of the tent.
Of course the young ones were never interested in any trees. They had discovered an ancient temple a few days ago, and wanted to explore it. The adults would have never let them go inside of an abandoned temple. It was said that the gods would punish everyone who enters a temple that wasnt cared for anymore. The ones that came back from entering an abandoned temple, were either crazy or badly injured. Some never came back.
"You know about the legends, dont you?", Lex asked shivering, "I mean, what if the gods are really mad with us?"
"Dont be such a coward Lex. Thats legends. Ever seen a god? No! So why be afraid of them?!", Rukka answered. Vox felt unsure about it. "Lets just be careful okay?!", he stated.
So the three of them enterd the temple. Rukka lightned a torch and went inside. Vox followed him. When he turned around, he saw Lex still standing at the entrance. "I'll just stay here and look out for adults. I'll give you a warning if I see some."
Vox smiled at him, "You can stay outside if you want. We wont force you to come with us. Just let us know, when you see an adult or any other danger." Afterwards he followed Rukka deeper and deeper in the temple.
They discoverd lots of amazing paintings on the walls, telling their history. One of them showed lots of Anthro Felines fighting against even more Anthro Canines. It seemed to have been bad times. Lots of fighting, lots of dying. "Look!", Rukka gasped. Vox followed his friend and saw what he was staring at. The last pic in a row of war and violence showed a huge female tiger. She was still walking on four legs and seemed to wear armour. Her eyes were made of gems, and seemed to look right at their souls.
"So whats the two of you doing here?!", a dark female voice asked. You could hear she was not accepting a lie. The young Panthers turned around. What was simply a picture on a wall right before now stood in front of them, growling angrily. "We... we... we just wanted to...", Rukka was unable to finish his sentence. "Stupid kids!", the tiger snarled, "dont you know the legends? You shall not enter a temple you forgot to care for! You dont even know who I am, right?"
"I know...", Vox whispered, "she is Warra, godess of fighting." Rukkas eyes opend wide. "The godess of fighting? Cant this be the temple of Ricka the godess of wisdom?"
"HAHAHA", the voice of Warra echoed through the hall, "so you DO know." She walked towards the two children. Her claws made a clicking noise with each step. And so her armour did when she was moving. "RUN!", Vox shouted. So the two of them started to hurry back to the entrence. But how would two Panther kids, walking on only two legs, be faster than a tiger godess? She caught up to them in a hall full of pillars. With one mighty strike of her paw, Warra broke one of these pillars. A domino effect caused more breaking pillars and suddenly stones fell from the ceiling. There was no way out anymore. The two Panthers paniced. Another strike of warras paw caused even more pillars breaking. A huge stone hit Rukka, while Vox fell on his knees and started to pray: "Sollin, I know its our fault. I know we shouldn't have come here. And I know I dont deserve your help, but would you please save me and my friend? I fear she will kill us." With his eyes closed he waited for a wonder. He still only heard tumbling rocks.
After a while the sound of falling rocks stopped and another voice appeared in the hall. "Stop that Warra! Who are we to kill innocent children?!" "Oh, they know very well to not come here. It's their own fault!", the tiger respondet. Vox opened his eyes again. He saw a huge Anthro Lion between him and Warra. Sollin had come with his fur shining nearly as bright as the sun. It was hard for Vox to watch the sun god, but Warra seemed to have problmes too. "They are children! What do you expect? We cant blame them for their parents and ancestors mistakes! Look what you have done! A godess who was fighting on the side of her feline folk while all those wars is now killing an innocent child! What have you become?!" Killing an innocent child? Vox was alarmed. He looked over to where Rukka had been.
