Bluebell married an unknown stallion and had The Melody of Harmony. The Sting of Caffeine married an unknown stallion and had Caspian Orion. (Bluebell and The Sting of Caffeine are now deceased.) The Melody of Harmony and Caspian Orion married and had Tumbleweed Sky and Autumn Rain. (The Melody of Harmony and Caspian Orion are now deceased.) Tumbleweed Sky and Adelaide Lydia Chardonnay married and had one filly named Snowy Gale. Snowy Gale never married, as her partner - Foggy Stream - died too young, but she did have a colt with him named Bubbly Current. Foggy Stream's parents are Glowing Rain (father; dragon) and Ocean Dew (mother; pony). (Foggy Stream was 1/2 dragon, and his colt, Bubbly Current, is 1/4 dragon.) Ocean Dew's half-sister is Janessa, as her mother - Dusky Doom - had a previous mate whom she later divorced. Ocean Dew is from the first marriage, while Janessa is from the second marriage. (Dusky Doom's parents were Charming Rhyme (mother) and Spinning Step (father). Both are deceased. Solar Autumn's parents were Rare Crescent (mother) and Prized Comet (father). Both are deceased. Jackpot's parents were both zebras, and were named Fortunate (mother) and Asphalt (father). Both are deceased.) Glowing Rain's parents are both deceased - his father was Starry River and his mother was Blazing Meteor. (Blazing Meteor's parents were Milky Moon (mother) and Tasteful Fish (father). Athena Melody and Avalon Orrin had Midnight Thorn and Silent Melody. (They are currently legally separated, though they did remain married for a long time.) Silent Melody and Symphony for an Orchestra had two children: Due Time and Spearmint. Apolinaria married Spearmint, and they had a filly named Penelope. (Apolinaria's parents are Snowy Wave (mother- still-living) and Summer Stone (father - deceased).) Royal Lyric is the child of an unknown stallion and Ingrid (she died during childbirth; her sister, Akila, is alive and well to this very day). Penelope married Royal Lyric, and they had three fillies named Stainless Sterling Silver, Azalea, and Soft Serve. Soft Serve later married a Saddle Arabian stallion named Flowering Flint; they had two fillies named Green Apple and Orchid Nectar. (Flowering Flint's parents were pedigree Saddle Arabian horses; their names were Brushed Stone (father) and Radiant Blossom (mother).) Green Apple and Klondike Boulder-Heartswell had two filles named Inky and Cassiopeia before the two divorced. Using an odd form of unicorn magic (given to her by a member of the family who wishes to remain anonymous), Inky had a child without the help of a stallion - this little girl is named Windy Lace.

As for her talent, she hasn't quite figured that out yet, but is certain to find one soon. She feels as if what she's called to do is to fight, and help those ponies out who are too weak to stand up for what they believe in - she feels as if she needs to stand up for them, to fight for them, and to defend them at the very cost of her life. She truly does believe that this will be her talent - or, at least, her talent will have SOMETHING to do with this - and even if her talent ends up being something stupid, like "apple-picker," she'll still make time to go out and help others to conquer things that they need help conquering - be that a small argument or a full-fledged war.

Yes, she does live in an area very similar to the world of MLP:FiM. Why fighting, then? Well, even in MLP:FiM there's enemies that crop up from time to time (Chrysalis, BugBear, Nightmare Moon, Discord, etc.) that need defeating, right? The same goes for the universe that Wishful Mage resides in. There are always going to be evil characters, as evil exists in our realm - and that is directly reflected in other realms, as well. She counts it her ultimate goal to help others, however, and as much as she absolutely adores fighting, it's not WHY she loves this honed-skill of hers so much; she loves it because through using it, she can help others who would never be able to help themselves otherwise.

Younger Cousin
Wishful Mage gets along quite nicely with Inky. Inky is quiet, but not overtly so. She is also talkative, but certainly isn't the chatter-mouth that her child is. Wishful Mage likes her cousin quite a lot, and if she's stressed and there's no one else to talk to, you can bet your bottom dollar that she has sought out Inky and went to obtain her council.

Windy Lace

While Wishful Mage gets along fairly well with her baby niece and she definitely doesn't hate her...there are times where she gets bored of the little one's constant yammering and energetic activity. Wishful Mage can only take so much of the rambunctious little one before losing her cool around the youngster, so she'll usually excuse herself should this occur...but she won't come back until a few days later, once she's had time to prepare herself for another onslaught of squealing and high-pitched yelling.

Cassiopeia really keeps to herself, so Wishful Mage doesn't know much about her. What she does know is that she gets along great with the extremely shy pony, and doesn't mind hanging around her when she's not being her usual, anti-social self.

Wishful Mage had an absolutely amazing relationship with her mother as a child, but as she grew older, she and her mother grew apart in drastic ways. Now, she doesn't hate her mother at all, and only wants the best for her. Wishful Mage has formed her own opinions quite contrary to what her parents believed, and because of this, she doesn't speak very frequently with her parents now...and even though she does live with them some of the time, most of the time she lives far more happily with her understanding great-grandparents, Glowing Rain and Ocean Dew.

Green Apple doesn't visit Wishful Mage very much, so Wishful Mage doesn't see her very much, and thus doesn't really have an opinion about the green mare. She does know that this pony bakes amazing apple pies, and that she'll always have a piece of pie if Green Apple has contributed to its creation somehow.

Klondike does visit Wishful Mage on occasion, though he usually is only present for a day or two before leaving abruptly. Because of this, Wishful Mage doesn't have a very good opinion of the flaky blue stallion, but she puts up with him for the sake of her cousins.

Soft Serve

Wishful Mage has an excellent relationship with her accepting grandmother, Soft Serve. This ice cream pony will often sit and listen to her blab about whatever is bothering her, and she absolutely loves helping her granddaughter in any way that she can. When Wishful Mage was a baby, Soft Serve would often babysit for her mother when she didn't have time to take care of the young one and couldn't call on Glowing Rain to take responsibility for the child, so Wishful Mage has been around Soft Serve for almost her whole life.

Wishful Mage has a good relationship with her grandfather, even though he's not the most accepting. He at least understands where she's coming from, even if he disagrees with her, and he obviously loves his daughter, and tries his best to help her remedy the situation between herself and Wishful Mage...but the young pony doubts his words will ever impact her mother as they need to.

Radiant Blossom
Great-Grandmother
Wishful Mage doesn't really like her prissy great-grandmother all that much. While she's been told that the mare has mellowed with age, she can hardly believe such an opinionated and rude pony was any worse than she is now. Her husband is even more outspoken than she is, so given the choice between them, Wishful Mage would rather be with Radiant Blossom...but she doesn't really like this side of the family so much.

Brushed Stone
Great-Grandfather
As previously mentioned, Wishful Mage isn't a large fan of this guy's pompous and trying-too-hard-to-be-funny attitude. She doesn't like that he's so rude about what he believes in - like, yeah, have an opinion, but don't go offending ponies for no good reason. Even though she's voiced her concerns to him, he refuses to do anything about it. Given the choice between him and his wife, Wishful Mage would choose to spend three hours with Radiant Blossom than even half-an-hour with Brushed Stone.

Stainless Sterling Silver
Great-Aunt (Older)
Stainless Sterling Silver is one busy pony! Wishful Mage has only caught glimpses of her personality, as most of the time this pony is running about, trying to get all of her work done. When she DOES get a break, she never seems able to make time for Wishful Mage. Wishful Mage isn't sure what to think about Stainless Sterling Silver, but she hopes that they can one day be closer.

Azalea
Great-Aunt (Younger)
Azalea is youngest aunt that Wishful Mage has. This young pony is actually younger than Wishful Mage herself! Wishful Mage has often pondered how in the world her parents were able to conceive so late in their lives, but usually explains it away with unicorn magic, which can do most anything. Being so young, Azalea has more in common with Windy Lace than she does Wishful Mage, so Wishful Mage doesn't have very much in common with the calm and quiet youngster - though she'd rather spend time with this little one than Windy Lace any day just because of her more tranquil personality.

Penelope
Great-Great Grandmother
Being the alicorn closest to Wishful Mage in her family line, Wishful Mage thinks highly of the calm, cool, and collected blue pony. When Penelope plays music with Royal Lyric, even Wishful Mage can feel the music move her heart! Even though the elder might have more "traditional" views and disagree with Wishful Mage frequently, she at least has the decency to be nice about it, unlike some of Wishful Mage's other family members...and for this, Wishful Mage is very, very grateful.

Great-Great Grandfather
Wishful Mage loves hearing her great-great-grandfather sing and adores watching him work, furiously scrawling notes onto a blank sheet of lined paper. While Wishful Mage isn't exactly an absolute die-hard of music and its traits, she nonetheless always loves her great-great-grandfather's lovely tunes and melodies. She doesn't mind hanging around him, either, even though he does have some controversial ideas about certain topics - but she often equates this to his age, as he grew up in a generation far different from her own.

Apolinaria
Great-Great-Great Grandmother
Apolinaria has some very crazy ideas about controversial topics, as does her husband - but Wishful Mage can appreciate how sweet they are as a couple. Apolinaria will look out for her spouse, often just protecting him from everyday occurrences like rain or falling leaves by shielding him with her wings. She is clearly very loving towards her husband, and Wishful Mage truly appreciates that, as that love that Apolinaria has for her husband tends to rub off on everypony else. Thus, she tends to positively impact those around her by barely even trying to do so.

Spearmint
Great-Great-Great Grandfather
Wishful Mage likes this pony - he always seems to smell of chocolate and mint. Spearmint has some pretty crazy ideas about controversial topics, as does his wife - but Wishful Mage can appreciate how sweet they are as a couple. Spearmint will help his wife cross the road, taking her hoof and walking alongside her. He will hold open doors for her - even though Wishful Mage is certain he knows that she can do that all by herself, what with her alicorn magic - and will also take the time to pick things out of her long, curly mane. Leaves, dirt, and feathers often get lodged in that purple messy mane of hers, and Spearmint will take great care to make her look as beautiful as he thinks she is. Spearmint is an all-around nice guy, so Wishful Mage actually enjoys hanging out with him.

Due Time
Great-Great-Great Aunt
Due Time is one of Wishful Mage's family members that has a debilitating medical issue. Due Time was diagnosed with cancer when she was only a filly, and has fought her entire life to stay alive from this crippling horrendous problem. Given a bad blood transfusion as a child, Due Time received the cancer first in her blood. Once that threat was removed, the cancer attacked her liver and gallbladder. Once that threat was removed, it then attacked her legs, which is where the cancer now resides. Due Time knows she doesn't have much longer to live, and because of this she tries her best to live every day nobly and honorably, treating others with the utmost care and attention...even if she doesn't really like them personally. Wishful Mage looks up to her great-great-great aunt and appreciates everything that this pony has done and accomplished in her long life, and how all of her family members have been blest by this one pony being around for as long as she has been able to be. She loves to sit and listen to this elder talk and tell stories of what life was like in her youth, so Wishful Mage honestly gets along the best with this particular pony out of all of her equine family members.


Father's Side:

Father
While with age, Wishful Mage and Bubbly Current have grown apart, her separation from her father wasn't quite as drastic as the one with her mother. Her father tends to be less confrontational, so she tends to get along better with him than her mother - though she does love both of them very, very much. Wishful Mage has formed her own opinions quite contrary to what her parents believed, and because of this, she doesn't speak very frequently with her parents now...and even though she does live with them some of the time, most of the time she lives far more happily with her understanding great-grandparents, Glowing Rain and Ocean Dew.

Snowy Gale has always looked out for Wishful Mage. Even though this pony wasn't always around during Wishful Mage's childhood, when she was around, she did her best to protect the young filly from those that might have wanted to harm her, and for that, Wishful Mage has all ways been grateful.

Deceased
Wishful Mage never knew her grandfather, and thus doesn't really have an opinion of him. The only fleeting memory she has of him was him picking her up and throwing her into the air to just catch her moments later. It is a happy memory, so Wishful Mage doesn't think badly of her grandfather.

Glowing Rain

Wishful Mage has an absolutely amazing relationship with her great-grandfather. She often just calls him "Grandfather" to just save on time, and he doesn't mind too much, as she is part of his family. She looks up to the wise reptile far more than she does practically any other member of her family (excluding Due Time, of course). She counts his wisdom as something she can learn from, and she loves to just sit and stare out of the cave with him, watching the rain pelt the ground below. She has a special connection to him because of their shared traits - while she is not fully dragon, she has several qualities that are dragon-like, and thus whenever she has issues with stuff pertaining to that, she'll go to Glowing Rain for help.

Ocean Dew
Great-Grandmother
Wishful Mage has a great relationship with her great-grandmother. She often just calls her "Grandmother" or "Grandma" to just save on time, and she doesn't mind too much, as Wishful Mage is part of her family. Wishful Mage looks up to the wise pony far more than she does practically any other member of her family (excluding Due Time, of course). She counts her wisdom as something she can learn from, and she loves to ask Ocean Dew questions about her childhood, to which Ocean Dew will always respond. Ocean Dew loves conversing with one of the younger members of the family, and will answer any inquiries Wishful Mage has for her. She loves to bake, and will often make sweet treats for the young pony. When Wishful Mage feels as if she can't go to her mother or father with something, she'll often take the concern before Ocean Dew, as she values the elder's insight highly.

Janessa
Great-Aunt
The only interaction Janessa and Wishful Mage had was at the hospital where she was born, so Wishful Mage doesn't even remember the kind pony who ended up being her great-aunt.

Adelaide Lydia Chardonnay
Great-Grandmother
Wishful Mage hasn't seen much of Adelaide since her husband died. When she was little Adelaide would often visit and tell stories of her childhood. Wishful Mage always loved these stories and looked forward to when she would see her great-grandmother again. The grief of losing her one and only love was too much for Adelaide to bear, however, and she has sort of become secluded with old age. She does visit from time to time, and Wishful Mage would love nothing more than to help the elder, but only time can heal the horrible wounds she's feeling.

Autumn Rain
Great-Aunt
Wishful Mage doesn't see Autumn Rain very frequently, and didn't know her a a child, so she doesn't really know much about this pony or how she feels about her.

(Due to such a substantial difference in age and interest, Wishful Mage doesn't have very many good relationships - if ANY relationships - with ponies and dragons older than three generations back. While some are still living, she doesn't wish to attempt to gain a relationship with any one of them due to what she has heard from other family members about these particular beings. Some whom she dearly wanted to meet she never will, due to their passing rather abruptly, and each for different reasons.)

If you're wondering how in the world her family has lived so long - Great-Great-Great Aunts and Grandfathers are still living - in the world of MLP:FiM, ponies live to be exceptionally old. Because the world I've created for Wishful Mage to dwell in is very much like the world of MLP:FiM, some of the same laws that apply there also apply in her world. For instance, Granny Smith is one of the oldest characters of MLP:FiM. I speculate that she's over 1000 years old, and still kickin'! She was alive at the start of one of the major cities in Equestria, and in her flashback, one of the princesses is never shown. Because we know from past episodes that one of the princesses was banished for 1,000 years, this begs the question as to how old Granny Smith really is. (This is my personal theory, and it has neither been confirmed nor denied in the show's cannon.)


What Does She Look Like as an Equestria Girl?
Wishful Mage has purple skin and green hair. Her hairstyle is very similar to Rainbow Dash's, but is a tad bit more straight and less layered than hers is. She almost always wears a pair of boots, made up of the different shades of red. These boots are very similar to Twilight Sparkle's boots. She always wears her red pendant on a black chain around her neck, and her outfit generally consists of jean shorts - purple or blue in color - and a loose shirt - pinkish-red or blue in color. Her eyes are blood-red, and in anthro Equestria Girl form, she does have her grey horns.

What Does She Look Like as a Human?
She has two distinct styles, but these styles do have similarities. Her skin is very pale, and has an odd purple-tint. Her hair has been dyed so many times that it has taken on a greenish tint, but Wishful Mage actually likes her hair looking like this, so she doesn't mind. She goes through a cycle with her hairstyle, having it long and in a ponytail for a long time, and then shaving half of her head and leaving the rest of it medium-length when she gets tired of the ponytail.
Now, for her styles. Style #1 can be described a very girly, but with a hint of flair. This look is her simplest, with a very short, purple dress, dark red ballet flats, and a red pendant. She also has a style very similar to this one with her long hair out (not in a ponytail) and a simple purple dress that is faded at the bottom due to her wearing it so often. Style #2 is sort of a mixture of two different styles - hip hop and country. She usually wears dark red and yellow cowboy boots, and she has a thick leather belt that's been dyed goldenrod-yellow. Her finger-less gloves match her belt in color, and have the option of being attached to pieces of fabric that then connect to very thick leather armbands further up her arm. Her shorts are the typical jean, with the pockets worn down greatly after years of use. Her shirt is pink, and she has a very loose, baggy purple shirt over top of it to add another layer for warmth and also for style. She has a red pendant with this style, as well.
As for her beach styles, she has many. The first style is very simple, with a purple and yellow one-piece swimsuit. Instead of her red pendant, she wears a red and yellow hair barrette. The second style is simple, but not as much as the first one. This style has a purple shirt and puffy pale purple pants instead of a swimsuit, but these materials are all able to get wet without any repercussions, so she doesn't have an issue with them getting wet. Instead of her red pendant, she has two hair barrettes, one red and one yellow. The third style is simple as well, but is more functional than the others. This style consists of a two-piece bathing suit, both pieces purple. Instead of hair barrettes or her pendant, she instead wears a pair of red diamond earrings and a hibiscus flower clip to hold her hair back. This style is easiest for her to move around in either on the shore or in the water, so while this outfit isn't the most comfortable, if she needs functionality, she'll most likely wear this outfit. The fourth and last style is her favorite. This style consists of a purple shirt and pale tan Capri pants. Instead of her red pendant or red and yellow hair barrettes, she has a dainty-looking red bangle as a bracelet and very small earrings. This outfit is the most functional and comfortable out of all of her beach outfits, and this is why she prefers this outfit over all the others.

What Does She Look Like as a Humanoid/Non-furry Anthro?
As an anthro, Wishful Mage has pale purple skin and black horns. Her lovely red eyes stay the same, as does her pale green hair color. As for her actual hairstyle, it changes a bit. Instead of pulling back her hair or shaving off half of it, in her anthro form she simply lets it grow long and thick. She often has a few shorter pieces that fall into her eyes, so she might hold them back with a headband every now and then, but for the most part she just lets the wind blow her hair wherever it wishes. Her outfits are generally purple or dark pink in this stage, and are rarely any other colors. The accents on items of clothing in this form are usually orange in color. Her items could include any type of weapon, though the most common for her to have is a silver sword or knife. In this form, she may or may not have a tail - it all depends upon who does the drawing of her. If she does have a tail, it will match both her skin-color and her hair color, and will look more like a lion's tail than anything - smooth until the tip, where it is very fluffy. She may or may not have scales in this form, and may or may not wear a helmet or have a shield - again, it all depends on who does the art of her.

Before you look below at the awesome art I've obtained, let me just explain why I have so many sketches, and why they're not all excellent. I often draw when I'm listening to a one to two hour sermon on Sunday mornings, and will occasionally sketch in-between classes at my college. Thus, in the short amounts of time I have, I find myself sketching random things - lately, it's been this pony, Wishful Mage. So...now you know why I have so many sketches!
