Alright, sorry, this is the first time I've written in a while. We're hiding in the RainWing kingdom. About an hour ago Shaden and Shadowclaw flew overhead. Yesterday it was Blizzard and Pond. You know what, I don't know, I've lost time. "Blizzard at Five-O-Clock!" Flurry called. She swooped down and we all hid in a ravine of vines. I'm suprised RainWings don't use this as a jail cell. Then again, in the book series, RainWings were lazy.

All of a sudden there was a hiss. "We've been watching you for a while." Said an angry male voice. "Dart frog." Said a female voice coming from the other direction. What was happening hit me just before everything went black. RainWings.... Silly me. They made themselves invisible. They probably camped out, spying on us, in this ravine. Then, they used poison dart frog venom to make poison darts which knock you out. What happened to Glory and friends in book 3, The Hidden Kingdom.


An hour later... two... three? I've lost count, it could've been 5 years or 5 day since our escape. I felt cold stone, no... that can't be right. RainWing kingdom... trees, hammocks, happy stuff. I opened my eyes to see we were all seperated. Snout, wings, claws, everything. Bound with vines. Something's changed in the Rain Kingdom. Wait...... these aren't vines! I'm imagining things. Thinking of how Glory would have it. These are flowers. No stone. A RainWing COVERED in flowers walked up to me.

"I'm queen Ravine." She hissed. "Welcome to my Kingdom, I see you've been here a while." I didn't like the sky blue devious look in her eye. That 'I'm in charge. Respect me.' look. Roxxy. "Jade, Scarlet, show them why they're here." She hissed. Jade, Scarlet. Jay, Scar. "With pleasure." Hissed Jade. Scarlet began. "You're the dragonetssss of desssstiny. Sent to stop the battle between Sea and Sky. However, the RainWingssssss have allied with the Nightwingsssss. We call the orders, not you. Queen Ray has done more than enough for the RainWings. She did her charm with the NightWingssss. We cannot let Queen Cloud win. But you will get in the way of our plansssssss. So we must hold you prisoner until..." Scarlet was cut off. "That's enough Scarlet, they weren't suppossssssssssed to here it all." Jade hissed. "Now we throw you in the dungeon." Last thing I remember. Our snouts are vined up, this is like a giant flower net, but thick. It's completely dark and purple. At least we're all together.

Days? Weeks? Months? It seems like it's been an eternity. They occasionally give us small fruits we can barely eat due to our tied up snouts. We can barely whisper to each other, but we don't much. The net is practically lightproof but sure not soundproof. We can't think of a way out. No fire. So how? The rain wings smack our net making it spin in circles. It makes me so mad because then we all fall on top of each other.

Jay and Scarlet are throwing fruit at the net. Don't they have 'make Ray win, stop Cloud' plans, something better in their life to do? This was worse than the spinning. A hard, small spot of pain, everywhere. I didn't know what was happening until Flurry whispered "Smoke, fire, that's it!" That was when I realized smoke was steaming out of my nostrils. Then I got the point. Flurry wanted me to try to make fire come from my nose since it couldn't come from my mouth. "C'mon ya flamethrower! Set this darn net on fire!" She whispered. I'm not a flamethrower, but I'll try.

I got as mad as I could at the Rainwings, but no fire. Just more smoke. Which might light some things but not this thick net. Then Darklight held a leaf above my nose. I understood, it would work, but not with Darklight. It had to be Swamp. She's fire immune. She took the leaf and held it. Steady.... I thought. Trying not to make to much smoke in her face. There! The leaf set on fire.

Swamp put it on the net and soon it began to spread around the net. Swamp stuck her claws in the fire to break the vines. Then she began to rip the net. We all leapt out and flew. Atlantis' wing tip touched the flames and she yowled in pain. Swamp caught her and we were up and out. "Stop!" Shouted Queen Ravine.

Scarlet and Jade sprang up and started flying after us, but we were to quick thinking. "Zig zag!" Shouted Darklight. When we played chase with Jay as kids we'd run and she'd follow us so we had illusions like up and over and zig zag. Up and down through the trees in a zig zag like pattern. I heard two thumps. "Hah, you know there's a tree there?!" Flurry called back to Scarlet and Jade. We all laughed. We flew fast, I never realized how big the Rainwing kingdom was. Huge. Well, we're still flying, and we won't stop until we're out of the Rain kingdom.

We've reached the Rainwing-Mudwing border. I wonder who they support. Ray or Cloud? In the series Mudwings allied with the Skywings. Eh, it wouldn't hurt to ask. Swamp volunteered to go in and ask some dragons, but we couldn't let her in alone. Got it! The thought hit me. Ice wings were blue as the sky. "Flurry, can you fly overhead and watch to make sure things are ok? Fly back immediately if something bad happens." I said. "Yes sir, general!" Flurry replied. I shuffled my talons waiting. I could've fainted when I saw Flurry return. Something was wrong. "Report, she stubbed her toe." She said. Atlantis burst out laughing.

"What? You told me to come back if anything went wrong!" I did tell her that, but not how I meant it. I was about to send her back when Swamp returned. "Skywings, yep. I was barely able to ask. Cloud was there. She seemed nice, and seriously official. Which seems good. Why are they fighting anyway?" Swamp asked.
"Land. The border has become unclear."

"Well, let's go meet her!" Darklight cheered. "Not so fast." Hailstorm cut in. "They likely know the Nightwings allied with Ray. And we don't know who the other tribes allied." She said. She was right.

All of a sudden a shadow streaked the sky. Nightwings. And they're not after us. They're using the Skywing method they used to burn down Summer Palace. It wouldn't harm the dragons, but the mudwing home. They knew Cloud was in their, and intended to kill her. Knowing Flurry's loud voice she flew high. "Nightwing Attack!" She shouted at the Mudwing village.

Ok, we found a hidden place. We escaped the Mudwing vs Nightwing war. We're at a bad place to hide though. We, well, Atlantis, is going to meet Ray, but, we're in between sky and sea territory, the area they've been fighting for. So much blood, Cactus fainted. So many dead bodies. Ugh. Well, we found a hidden cave. Darklight says lets go then Hailstorm says lets stay a while. Ok. We're going.

It's been an hour, we're waiting on Atlantis to return. It wasn't what I expected. She was flying way faster than I'd expected. And there was a crowd of Seawings. Chasing her. Each one with a Narwhal spear except the one with many pearls. Ugh, what did she do wrong!? We all flew up to help. Left, right, they were harder to dodge with the spears. One stabbed Cactus in the side. Darklight caught Her mid-fall. Then Queen Ray charged at them. Swamp flew up and tackled her. They both wrangled down to the ground. I flew down with her.

I heard the worst thing I could hear. "Ray?! Rainwings! Attack!" Queen Ravine called. Then came the Mudwings and Nightwings from their fight. Icewings. They swooped down and attacked the Nightwings. Mud and Ice support Cloud. Night and Rain support Ray. I wonder who the Sandwings are with. Of course here they come. Some attack Cloud, some attack Ray. The Sandwings split again, like the last war. All of a sudden there was another mixed group like us. The guardians. Two split from the group, Shadelily and Shadowclaw. They swooped down, and Shadelily faced me.

Her eyes changed from dragon eyes to that deadly pure glow yellow. She looked right into my eyes, and it all went black. I.... Failed. Was my final thought.
