I don't typically do a code drop unless it is specifically requested. I find it easier on myself, (harder for you guys, sorry

You and Emerald walk side by side, your footsteps moving together in perfect harmony. You walk for a while, with no luck when suddenly Emerald stops cold. Looking upwards, Emerald's nose twitches. (sorry is Emerald a boy or a girl?) He/she sticks out her/his tail and points with his/her nose to a trail that is detatched from the road you are on. Do you go in that direction?
