Hmm, it depends. The pricier the place, the more chances you have of getting more seashells! As for actual chances including the exploration costs, I have no idea. It depends on your luck and random.org.

I couldn't find where you said it, how much longer will this event last for?

The explorations should end sometime before June 26th, but they might be continued again sometime later. You will still have other events and mini-games that include shells, though!

You can, though you can also buy seashells now for 100♪. I totally forgot to update the Seashell Bank with this, didn't I.

A special custom is pretty much the same as a normal one.. Except if you don't give too many strict details, you might find that the custom has some rarer features that you couldn't get with a normal custom.
