You can explore once a day in one of the areas. So for example, you can go to Muddy Puddle today, Midnight Walkway tomorrow, Muddy Puddle again the day after, etc.

Lower down areas have better prizes and/or more chances to get something. Muddy Puddle has a chance of not finding anything, while Flower Field doesn't have that chance at all.
And the SRs are rarer and more unique the lower down the area is, or around it. I had to make a lot of switches because of rarities and stuff.

I really want to explore Muddy Puddle! Because muddy puddle. But I guess I'll switch it to another area, because prizes! XD I'll go edit my post.

I believe through minigames and exploring. I got mine from the previous event.
