Will you make any use of the Cryst?:
Not only to I plan to display Mamoru as part of my pet collection that can be found in my siggy, but I plan to also use his character for "creative writing" as some teachers like to call it, such as poems, stories and the occasional diary entry or two. Not only this, but if I am ever able to find myself in a role play allowing you to use your own characters, I would love to be able to use a Chystinalian, especially this beautiful boy.

Personality:
This young male is very dominant - he always has been since he was able to stand and play fight with the other cubs, from his litter or not. Alongside this trait, he is ferocious, persuasive and a bit of a charmer. His handsome looks occasionally attract females, but if he believes their is someone else waiting for him in the future he flirts with her until he gets bored. When boredom strikes it often leads to toying with her and teasing her until she turns away to look for another. Mamoru always searches for the best in people, always believing their is another way of seeing their story, whether it reveals a battered, unfortunate soul or a jealous spirit searching for revenge due to something that may or may not have happened in the past.

However, this male isn't always like a warm, cuddly cub. When angered, he insists on fighting - whether it is until another steps in to break them up, the opposition fleeing or the death. This rarely occurs though due to his good control over his emotions and action. His tales often scare cubs, forcing them to avoid him from the fear that he is evil, aggressive and dangerous to be around. But as most of the Christinalians know, they are just telling porkies - he wouldn't hurt a fly on purpose unless there was a good reason. Overall, his character is a leader of such with his calm, balanced attitude and positive state of mind.

History:
Mamoru lived the standard life up to his teenage years. He was born to loving parents with one brother and a stillborn sister. At the time, he didn't know that this sister even existed, nor did his brother, so they had fun most days play fighting, seeing who was stronger than the other. It soon became clear to his parents and his brother that he was very strong and could possibly become a future leader of a pack if one was ever created. At birth, his fur was mainly grey, with only white socks and a white muzzle. Like most of the other cubs, his fur began to change ever so slightly- allowing his tail to pale even more and a light dapple of grey beginning to appear on the grey areas of his pelt.

The next months flew and before he knew it he was leaving the nest to live his own life. After some sad farewells to his mother and father, he and his brother set off. On their journey, they found two birds, each one with feathers somewhat similar to the two brothers pelt. Together, they killed the birds and found a way to attach them in a pain free way that would ensure they would last there at least until their elderly days and attached them either side of the tail. It wasn't long until they split and Mamoru was a little gloomy to say goodbye to his littermate. His search for a mate had began.

The first few female crystinalians he found weren't right for him. They were just too interested in showing off to each other about this male who would be their mate, have pups and live forever walking into the sunset. The next female he met was one whom really loved, but within months of them meeting she was killed by hunters and this still haunts him today, running beside her, hearing the shot and then seeing her fall at his side, limp in the snow. His heart was shattered- even now he finds it hard to find someone as beautiful as her who he could see himself settling down and living with her. Currently, he lives in the middle of a large patch of land, filled with prey and other crystinalians who all see him as the boss and the main protector as his name suggests..

Uhm... Good luck everyone else who entered and will enter in the future. I guess only one of us can win so if I'm not lucky enough this time, I'll keep an eye on the upcoming ones to see if anyone else catches my eye. If not then I suppose I'll get me a custom
