souls into the afterlife.

The underworld, since he is one of a handful of reapers
and safe guards of the dead.

How he knows about her:

Moarte was one of the many gathered for this soul resurrection. This soul was
killed by one of the many evils he swore he'd protect the innocent souls from. This soul in particular
was killed before it's time was up. Moarte was lucky enough to stumble upon the mistaken soul first
or else the other reapers would have dragged the soul to the afterlife without a second thought.
[It is their job after all.] After a long talk with his lively counter part, Il Vivere, and the other reapers,
they finally decided to allow him to return the soul to it's body. Thankfully, the other deities that
knew Moarte's dilemma were kind enough to preserve the owners body long enough for him to
reattach the soul. Upon reattaching the soul, he was momentarily captured by her stunning beauty.
Even in death, she was so pretty.

If you would prefer a more natural design, I understand and apologize for this failed attempt. Being an undead safeguard of the dead, I thought he would be more fitting for her.

Personality:

Moarte is very serious and nonchalant. He can be uptight at some times but this is due to the severity on his 24/7 career. He takes death morbidly serious and does what he can to save and protect the souls of the innocent. Moarte is not often impressed or phased about anything. He dislikes those who are arrogant and inconsiderate, as anyone should. After dying almost centuries ago, he's forgotten nearly all of his past and feelings. He doesn't hold people close since first of all bcause it's against the rules of his work to gain any form of attachment to anyone living, second of all he is immortal so he doesn't want to become attatched to anyone who he will out live.
