Reasoning for name:
Amaya is an Arabic name meaning "night rain." I have chosen to name this floc after their (her?) appearance. While the bright colors don't necessarily suggest "night", I think it has a very nice twilight feel to it. Certainly, I was inspired by cool, calming rain, and the night lends itself better to that. Amaya flows well and rolls of the tongue easily. I feel like it's fitting for a very fluid and smooth subject.
