I've been getting a number of inquiries about artists.
While I'm not actively looking for artists right now,
here is some information about what I'll be looking for.

The art program I use to create Stuffalynns is PaintTool SAI.
If you are interested in being an artist, you will need to be able to:

1) Open either a SAI or PSD file
2) Be able to open folders that contain layers within a SAI/PSD file
3) Know how to lock layers to aide in coloring
4) Draw Life Charms
5) Be willing to check with me about Charms before making a Stuffalynn
5) Provide me with cropped PNG and SAI/PSD files for all batches
6) Be active on Chickensmoothie
7) Have coloring/drawing skills that equal or exceed my own

I've decided that anyone who is interested in being an artist may PM me about
being an artist, BUT you MUST provide me ample examples of your work.
If your examples show skills that equal or exceed my own, I will then provide
you with a simplified version of the linearts to use to make up to 3 try outs.

What is a Stuffalynn?

_____Stuffalynns are creatures the size and weight of a medium-sized dog. They were created from magic by a lonely witch named Mellisandra, who wanted to make herself a friend. She stitched together a creature from cloth and brought it to life. After the first Stuffalynn was successful, Mellisandra began to make more to give away as gifts to others! Stuffalynns come in a variety of colors and patterns. They can be dull and monochrome to full on rainbow and have super simple markings to overly complex patterns.

_____Each Stuffalynn is “stuffed” with something different, and the Stuffing can be made up of almost anything. Some examples of Stuffing are keys, milk, bananas, or a swarm of bees. Any electronic or battery powered technology (cell phones, computers, microwaves, etc) cannot be used as Stuffing because they do not exist in Amoryn, the world where Stuffalynn's come from. Amoyrn's technology is similar to that of the Renaissance and before. There are some inventions created later on Earth that do exist in Amoryn, though. If you'd like to know whether an item is possible as Stuffing, feel free to ask and rainbowpanda101 will respond.

_____A Stuffalynn’s Stuffing is protected by their cloth skin. The weakest points are where the Stitches are located. Stitches are the closures seen on a Stuffalynn’s skin that have criss-cross lines all along them. Stitches are not the same as Seams, which are the closures used to put a Stuffalynn together. Seams do not have any lines criss-crossing over them.

_____Stuffalynns do not eat and cannot talk. If they were to open their stitched mouths their Stuffing would fall out. Since they cannot talk, Stuffalynns hum to communicate instead. Humming along to songs is a common occurrence with Stuffalynns, as is them coming up with their own hummed tunes. They are capable of a vast array of different sounding hums, though nobody is quite sure how they are capable of doing this. Perhaps it is just magic!

When A Stitch Rips

_____If one of the Stitches on a Stuffalynn rips open, the Stuffing “falls” out. When this happens, multiple objects start to come out of the Stuffalynn. The objects are life-sized and real. For example, if a Stuffalynn that is stuffed with sheep has a Stitch rip open a bunch of live sheep will begin to magically appear out of the hole. It is best to mend a ripped Stitch as soon as possible because if all of the Stuffing falls out, the Stuffalynn dies. A Stuffalynn that has died can be repaired and restuffed with either the same type of Stuffing or a new type of Stuffing. However, if such a repair is made the Stuffalynn will not be the same. They will have lost their memories and basically start life anew.

Rarities

_____Stuffalynns can have different types of Stuffing, different eye shapes, different ear shapes, different tail shapes, and different body decorations. For each diagram seen below, colored dots are placed beside the names of each type of Stuffing, eye, ear, etc to show how common, uncommon, or rare that feature is. Green dots mean the feature is common. Yellow dots mean the feature is uncommon. Red dots mean the feature is rare. Decorations do not have any rarities because they are sort of like accessories.

Life Charms

_____Life Charms are small, dangling charms worn by a Stuffalynn. The Charms always reflect whatever a Stuffalynn's Stuffing is. They are called Life Charms because the charms are what Mellisandra used to magically stuff each Stuffalynn. No two Life Charms are exactly the same, even if two Stuffalynns have the same type of Stuffing. If a Stuffalynn loses their Life Charm, it poses no threat to their life, but it does make them incredibly sad to lose such an important part of themselves.

_____Collars are the default accessory to which Life Charms are attached, but they are not the only accessory that Charms can be attached to. They can also be attached to necklaces, scarves, ties, bowties, and bracelets. There is also the option to turn a Life Charm into a pin rather than a dangling charm. Once a Charm is turned into a pin, it can be then attached to a Stuffalynn's body or to accessories such as bandanas, leg wraps, scarves, socks, legwarmers, t-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies.

Decorations

_____There are several different sorts of decorations that can be found on Stuffalynns. Ruffles, Lace, and Ribbon Trim are all trim that gets sewn into the Seams along the chest and underbelly. Tied Ribbon can be found tied around one or both of the front paws or around the neck. Pom Poms are found only on the top of the head, nestled between the ears. Buttons and patches of different shapes and sizes can be found sewn randomly onto a Stuffalynn's body. So far these decorations are the only ones seen on Stuffalynns, but more may be found in the future!

Breeding

_____Mellisandra's original intentions were for Stuffalynns not to be able to reproduce in any way, but they unexpectedly figured out a way how. Basically, two Stuffalynns take a square of cloth, sew it into an egg shape, drop their Life Charms plus another new Life Charm inside, close up the egg, and sometime after that the cloth egg hatches into a brand new Stuffalynn with colors and patterns similar to the parents! Stuffalynns have a sense of gender and know whether they are male or female, but whichever gender they associate with does not matter. Any two Stuffalynns can "breed" with one another to produce offspring.

Ways to Adopt

First Come First Serve (FCFS)
This is the most common way to
adopt Stuffalynns. The first person
to post with a filled out form gets
the Stuffalynn they ask for.

Form Competition (Form Comp)
This is the rarest way to adopt
Stuffalynns. Basically, you fill out a form
and try to make it as pretty as possible.

This is an uncommon way to

Adoption Rules

• You can adopt 1 Stuffalynn per batch, from every other batch.
That means wait for another batch to be adopted out before you adopt again.
• You can adopt one Stuffalynn from the Rescue Center per day.
• Do not adopt from the Rescue Center if you adopted from the latest batch.
• You can own a total of 15 regular adoption Stuffalynns. More info in FAQ.
• Please name your Stuffalynns! Only customs or offspring can be WIP.
• PM rainbowpanda101 to name a Stuffalynn that is not named.
• If you no longer want your Stuffalynns, please PM rainbowpanda101 and
fill out the Drop Off Form in your PM. The form is in the Rescue Center.

• Do not edit your order forms. If you make a mistake, post about it.
• Make sure to post all forms and orders in the right place.

Breeding Rules

• You can only advertise for a breeding partner once per page in the main and breeding threads.
• Please take all breeding partner discussions to PM. Discussing it in the thread would be spam.

She prefers Wishlist pets at the moment, but she will accept non-Wishlist pets as long as they are from 2008 to 2010 and are Uncommon or higher in rarity. She is also looking to fulfill her item Wishlist. You can send trades to rainbowpanda101 at any time to save up Buttons. _____Occasionally, there will be events to celebrate holidays and other special occasions. You might find games you can play to get items or Buttons, or special Stuffalynns that are up for Raffle. When an event begins, there will be an announcement about it. Events will have special rules that you will need to follow in order to participate. Make sure to follow the event rules. If you break event rules more than once, you may be banned from participating in the rest of the event.

Description: An event held in the city of Aurora City. The magical residents of the city go all out casting auroras across the whole sky around the city. There are grand feasts and games. More specifics are a WIP.

Event: Harvest Festival
When: October
Description: An event held to celebrate the coming of Fall! Spooky masks and costumes are worn by children and adults alike. Youngsters in their scariest garb go door to door in their villages to receive candy and other sweet treats from their neighbors. But beware! Instead of a treat, one may get a trick instead! More specifics are a WIP.

A: Regularly released Stuffalynns are completely free. Customs cost 1,000 to 1,500 Buttons depending on whether you
___want to be able to choose common, uncommon, or rare features of eyes, ears, tails, and Stuffing. Breedings
___cost 1,000 Buttons, but that is not including the cost of special items that influence the outcome of a breeding.

Q: Buttons? How do I pay with Buttons?
A: Buttons are the currency used to buy custom and breeding supplies and accessories. The Marketplace has a selection of
___things for you to purchase with them. You can get Buttons by exchanging CS pets. Make sure to read the Bank section!
___It shows the Exchange Rate for pets to Buttons. There may be chances to win free Buttons in games or events later on.

Q: How often can we adopt?
A: You can adopt one Stuffalynn per batch, every other batch. So when you adopt one, you must wait for another batch to be
___adopted out before you can ask to adopt again. This gives everyone a chance to get their hands on a Stuffalynn.
___Customs and Breeding adoptions do NOT count towards this limitation. Please allow others a chance to win
___if you have quite a few Stuffalynns already!

Q: How many Stuffalynns can we own in total?
A: The maximum number of Stuffalynns you can have is 15. However, this maximum only includes Stuffalynns you obtain
___from regular adoptions, the Rescue Center, events and raffles, someone else's breeding, and Customs. There is
___no limit to how many of your own Stuffalynns' babies you can keep, but please keep in mind others will
___want to breed. Try not to take up the nursery slots every time they open. There is also no limit to how many
___Stuffalynns you can find when exploring Amoryn.

Q: What if I want more than 15 Stuffalynns?
A: Sorry, but once you reach the limit there's nothing more I can do for you. Your only options would be to give up a few of
___your Stuffalynns to the Rescue Center, breed your Stuffalynns together or with someone else, or explore Amoryn
___and hope you find wild Stuffalynns.

Q: Can I gift/trade my Stuffalynns?
A: For the time being, I do not allow owners to gift or trade any of their Stuffalynns. This includes trading Stuffalynns to
___others in exchange for pets, characters, or any currency/pets/etc from other websites. If I find out someone gifted
___or traded a Stuffalynn, the Stuffalynns they gifted/traded will be put up for re-adoption in the Rescue Center.
___Owners found gifting or trading will earn a strike and may be banned from adopting for awhile. Once we are
___established and running smoothly, this will change and a gifting/trading thread will be open and
___gifting/trading will be allowed at certain times.

Q: What's the Rescue Center for?
A: The Rescue Center is where Stuffalynns go if their owners no longer want them. Stuffalynns may end up here because
___their owners broke the rules in some way. These Stuffalynns go up for re-adoption so they can go to a new
___ loving home. You can only adopt from the Rescue Center if you haven't adopted from the latest batch,
___and you can only adopt one Stuffalynn from the Rescue Center per day.

Q: Can we get custom Stuffalynns?
A: Yes, but custom Stuffalynns cannot be based on reference images. Instead, you provide what gender, eye shape, ear
___ shape, tail shape, color palette, and general patterns/markings you want. Exact color palettes can be
___provided, as well as a reference image for general patterns/markings. Reference images for patterns and
___markings will be used as inspiration but will not be directly copied onto a Stuffalynn. To get a custom Stuffalynn
___ buy a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Antique Thimble, which can be found in the Marketplace. Before requesting
___a Custom, please make sure to check to see if Customs are actually open.

Q: Can we breed our Stuffalynns?
A: Of course! To request a Breeding you need to buy a Square of Cloth from the Marketplace. To be able to keep any
___babies that are produced, you will have to buy Black, Gray, or White Thread. Black Thread allows you to
___keep one of the babies produced by the breeding. Gray Thread allows you to keep however many babies
___produced by the breeding that you want, but not all of them. White Thread allows you to keep all of the
___babies produced by the breeding. Any babies not kept will go up for adoption for others to adopt. All breeding
___related orders should be posted in the Stuffalynn Nursery thread, not the main thread. Before requesting
___a Breeding, please make sure to check to see if Breeding is actually open.

Q: Can only male and female Stuffalynns breed together?
A: Gender does not matter regarding breeding between two Stuffalynns. A male and female can produce babies, but so can
___two males or two females. Though Stuffalynns do not breed like humans, they do experience similar attractions to
___other Stuffalynns. This just means that they can be heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, or basically any
___other sexual orientation.

Q: So, Stuffalynns can have any kind of sexual orientation, but what about gender identity?
A: Stuffalynns are not humans. From the moment they come to life, they know whether they are male or female. There is
___no question as to what gender they identify with, so there are no cases of transgender or fluid gender. Stuffalynns
___do not have any anatomical gender identifiers, either. As for pronouns, he or she works just fine.

Q: Once I breed two Stuffalynns, are they mated for life?
A: Not necessarily. You get to decide whether your Stuffalynns have a single mate, many different mates, or no mates at all.
___And because it doesn't matter what gender parents are, you can even decide whether your Stuffalynns have a
___mate the same gender or different gender as themselves!

Q: Can I breed my Stuffalynn with someone else's?
A: Yes! You can breed your own Stuffalynns together, or partner up with someone else. If you want to partner up, please
___discuss it over PM and not in any of the threads. Both partners must post the correct form in order for me to
___accept the breeding request. Partners will only need one Square of Cloth and can split the cost of it. Breedings
___between partners will always produce an even amount of babies. Partners will not need to use any Thread
___to keep babies. They automatically keep one each. Partners should discuss over PM, not in the threads,
___ who gets which of the babies. If there are extra babies, they will go up for adoption and be adopted by someone else.

Q: Why do breeding partners automatically get to keep one baby each?
A: Before anyone starts shouting that it's unfair that a single person has to buy Thread to keep babies, but two partners who
___breed their Stuffalynns together get to automatically keep one baby each...I have a very simple answer for this! I'm
___trying to promote more interaction between Stuffalynn patrons! In the past, when I ran adoption shops, I noticed there
___was never much interaction between my patrons. This time around, I want to encourage interaction between people -

Q: I'm looking for a breeding partner! Am I allowed to advertise that I am?
A: Yes! If you're wanting to advertise that you're looking for a partner, you may do so. However, please only advertise you're
___looking for a partner once per page of the main thread. You can advertise in the Nursery thread as well, but only once per
___page! If you begin doing it more than once per page, I will consider it spam and ask you to stop.
