Hmmmm... Had to think a lot on this one. Mainly because, well, it's equivalent to having another trainer come in and work with your horse for the competition. It happens a lot, actually -- trainers will come in and work with both horse and rider, so it isn't too far-fetched. I'll allow it, especially for those who simply weren't gifted with that talent or have something wrong with their scanner/Oekaki, but it won't have a huge bearing on the final score. Additionally, art isn't really necessary at all -- if you put just as much work into writing, you'll be fine -- so if you prefer to do your own art and feel like it just isn't as good, that's fine ^^ The winner won't be the one with the most eloquent writing or the one with the prettiest drawings but the one who devoted time, care, and love to their thoroughbreds and really transformed them (realistically). No worries!
That being said, if a form is 90% someone else's work, it isn't going to make it. A horse's retraining should be at least 90% that user's work, and credit must be given to anyone else helping. However, if anyone wants to add some pretty artwork to a page or just indulge on their 3-year-old, I'm not opposed c: Just make sure that you're showing me your effort as well, and don't expect to win first place because you've got 20 pieces of artwork from 15 different artists.
Thanks for the question, Oddly! ^^
