Name: Her name shall be Esmeralda Rose. Also known as the Rose in the Thorns.Most just call here Rose n' Thorns for short.

Description of Encounter:
One quiet day, when the sky was clear and blue, Esmeralda was found in a briar patch. Though this brair patch was unlike any other; its roses held a deadly poison that killed anyone who ate them. Esmeralda had entered the thorn patch, seeking out these alluring, delicious, and beautiful flowers for her third meal of the day.She had crawled inside the bush, the many thorns digging into her scales, which offered no protection at all. Despite the pain, she continued on. She soon found one of these pretty flowers, and snatched it off the bush for her enjoyment. The poison flowed through her veins, but she wasn't killed. Instead, long vines grew from inside her, decorating her limbs with amazing flowers and lush green foliage.The scratches from her encounter with the brush still remain.

As I walked through the forest, I came upon this handsome patch of briars and roses, and heard a sweet call from inside. I called out to it, " Hello? Are you all right?". It answered back with a whine, stepping form the foliage. That was the day I first set eyes on Esmeralda, and that was that day she earned the nickname, The Rose in the Thorns.

❤Description of encounter; On what appeared to be a quiet, sunny day with clear skies, so Rosalina decided to disobey her friend's(named Merande) warnings about how it would be a hurricane coming. Rosalina took off at around noon, started exploring, found some beautiful flowers, and one rose she put behind her ear, she also found spices and even forest creatures, but for some reason there we no Aardrakes. She knew the place was usually extremely busy, for this was the trading post of the woods, however she ignored her instinct and carried on her dangerous journey. And, as her friend warned her, there was a terrible storm, trees toppled over, rivers flooded, and the wind was too strong to bare. The wind went swoosh! and threw Rosalina to a tree, knocking her out. As she woke up she was in a barren area, a few trees, a few flowers, but no animals. She cried in anger and frustration, wanting, wishing for somebody, anybody to help her! She stumbled around, occasionally falling because the tree accident left her somewhat dizzy. She looked for food and found a few berries, all else she saw was barren, then decided to go to sleep. As she woke up the next morning she was somewhere new? She assumed she sleepwalks, which she actually does. But this time the place she woke up in was a city? Rosalina thought, "Whoa, how far do I walk when I sleep?", nonetheless she continued on, wanting her old home back. 3:00 AM, a huge clock read, of course Rosalina didn't know what this meant, as she couldn't read, being an Aardrake. This was fortunate for her, almost no humans, especially Animal Control, were awake at this hour, but, one girl, me, was running on the sidewalk, I really don't know why, I just like to get an early run before everyone, and I mean everyone, starts going to work, school, ect. Don't worry! I go to sleep around 5:00 PM so I have enough energy for school. So, as I was running the sidewalk I saw this weird looking dragon-armadillo creature, naturally I wanted to know so I went and picked her up. Thankfully she wasn't hostile, I decided to leave her alone and go back to my apartment, but I couldn't, the little dragon-thing followed me, I laughed and took her with me. When I got home I put my finger to my lip saying, "Shh, don't make any noise or my mom will hear you." I hid her in my closest, I'm sure my mom would have called Animal Control if she saw her. I thought to myself, "This little girl here needs a name. What do you like, Mia? Carnation? Rose? Rosalina?" When I said "Rosalina" the Aardrake nodded her head and did -what I think was- a smile. "Oh, you like the name Rosalina?" I asked the little creature, to which she replied by nodding her head. "Aw," I thought, "she's so cute, will my mom let me keep her? Should I tell her at all?" And as I saw Rosalina smile at me I knew what I had to do.❤
