i am sorry, i don't have a strict time i release these guys.
its partly why i will be switching to more raffle based litters.
which will allow people to still have chances at a comet cat regardless of their time zone.

also, i would like your opinion on a new set of lines that might not be used for comet cats, but may lead to a new adoption thread:

they are inspired by one of my favorite breed of dogs, corgies ;u;
i might decide to open up a new adoptable thread around them once my classes are over (which would be in the next couple days).

only issue being i might put comet cats on a slight hiatus until i can manage them both running.
what do you think? i can make a poll or you could pm me or leave a comment here regarding it ;u;

Rather include them here than making a separate thread.
Two complete separate ones are double the amount of work you have to do. While here it is 'just' another animal.

The hind leg bothers me a bit, or rather the curved line separating the leg and the belly.
That looks off owo

ahhh you bring up a good point. i tried to make it look kind pudgy with that. at any rate these lines aren't ready to go anyways.

and as a warning i may close or put this thread on hiatus should i use these on another thread. this wouldn't be the only reason, as i have run into a lot of difficulty keeping this running. it built up too fast and i have gotten over my head with us complexity.

however, as for now, the thread will run as normal for the next couple days until classes end for me. a code drop will be out tomorrow, and i have a litter or two more waiting to be released thanks to my artists.

I think you don't have to make it that long/curvy, it already looks a bit pudgy since the body is so big and it has such thin/short legs.
Short lineer, maybe not curving to the left, but instead letting it end before it bends down. Or whatever.
I'm sure the final lineart will be lovely! :3

i have made the decision that i will be closing down comet cats.

this is due to a number of reasons i have addressed and other reasons you may not be aware of.
part of the reason is due to this thread's production. i created this thread to just have fun with it, releasing what i could when i could. it was something fun at first i could do when i felt like. its growing popularity pushed me to limits i didnt even know i crossed until it was too late. i found that i put so much into it so fast that it got out of hand to me and now it has almost become a "chore" to keep up with it. i now seem to struggle to work on new litters also due to the fact the way i made the lines was too complex. another reason is that i am now an artist on a few other adoptables thread. of course comet cats come first, but i have lost my inspiration to work with the creatures i have produced here. i dont feel the pull i once had and as much as i loved the creatures and everything i created for them, i don't think i could continue working with them.

as much as i love comet cats, how much love and effort i put into these babes, i can't say that my love still resides here. this was to be a constantly growing place but i believe i lost sight of that. and i am terribly sorry to all those involved here that will miss them
i want to thank you all for being around for the long run and giving me the support to even get this far, even though it hasn't really been long at all. i truly appreciate every single one of you who have adopted one of these lovely creatures. as well as my dedicated staff, my artists and my mods. even those who tried out to be artists and mods. your dedication made me so proud of this little place.

now with that out of the way, i would like to let you know that
there are still two more litters that will be released before this place is shut down completely!
they will be released during this week and next week as a farewell. they were both made by my artists and i truly appreciate they got them in to me so i can share them with all of you once more.
they will be first come first serve, and when they are all gone, that will be it.
i will allow for you to keep all the comet cats you may have acquired. you may even trade among yourselves to obtain them if you have none. but i will not be aiding in that once all the comet cats have been adopted.

now while i am CLOSING comet cats, and it is NOT A HIATUS, this does not ultimately mean goodbye!
i will be saving the lines juuuust in case, but ultimately i am moving on to greater ventures.
i personally am also working for foxicats as it is currently. i can also be found as a guest artist at hippocampus, and i am an artist at aquamoris (which is on hiatus currently). (all links to these adoptables can be found on the front page of the affiliates section)
aside from this, i will also be creating a new adoptable thread completely unrelated to comet cats, based off a set of corgi lines i created recently. this should be up by the time the two other litters here are all adopted, so with that being said, you may just find those to be even better than comet cats. i will warn you now it will be a downsize, only focusing on one species and one species alone. it will be a slower process than how instantaneous everything came up here. and my hope for this to be a slower process will allow me to truly work at my own pace, and to make sure it does not become a 'job' or a 'chore'.

i hope to see you all in the future, thank you again so much for being a part of comet cats.
