I see you have found your way to Feathers and Fur- Welcome.
A blast of deliciously hot air hits you and you step inside. There is a young horse in the centre of the room. Looking closer, you notice it has wings. The door closes behind you and the winged horse starts to speak, "I see you have found your way to Feathers and Fur- welcome," it smiles at you kindly, then continues "I am PearlSky, and I'll show you around if you like." With that, PearlSky gets to her feet and indicates for you to follow. Quaking, you let her lead you into another room. It is round, and there isn't much furniture- only a small bed in the centre and a scattering of large silky pillows on the floor. "You may stay here for the night if you want." PearlSky tells you and you nod thankfully as she leaves the room.
Wearily, you slide under the cosy duvet of the bed and as soon as your head hits the plump pillow, you fall asleep.
In what seems like no time at all, it is morning. You wake up to a happy, chattering buzz. Blinking, you slip out of bed and walk over to the small window. Drawing the curtains, you peer outside. An astonishing sight meets your eyes as you take in a large garden. Seeds, eggs, bubbles and precious jewels are scattered in a messy looking greenhouse and there are cute fluffy creatures flitting around in the golden sunlight and sleeker, more graceful creatures swimming in the pond, dipping, diving and frolicking in the crystal waters. looking at the lush grass, you suddenly notice more of the fuzzy creatures plodding and dashing around. They could only be the size of a small mouse, but they were beautiful and seemed to have a highly intelligent society.
One of them notices you gawping and flies to the window. With a mere blink, it removes the window and flies right in.
"Hi there," it says quietly in a voice like the chiming of many bells, "are you here to give one of us a home?" It looks up at you hopefully, then swishes its tail and hands you a piece of paper. "Here. For if you want to adopt." It explains, noticing your puzzled expression. With that, it flits back out of the window and the pane of glass fizzes back into existence. Sitting on the cushioned floor, you begin to read the scroll.
