I felt sorry for Batsong that she wasn't feeling well. I followed Ashfur and Oakfang out of camp when Ashfur led us.

"Of course," Eagelflight replied to Ashfur. Then he turned to Greytail and Ivycloud. "Are you both ready to go?" He asked. He was happy to be able to go hunting, and hoped they would catch plenty of prey so they wouldn't have to worry as much during leafbare. He never liked the hard times, with greencough and starvation plaguing the clan.

She looked at EagleFlight and nodded she got up to her paws and went to the entrance,she sat down next to it waiting for GreyTail and EagleFlight

She looked at IvyCloud at the entrance then at EagleFlight and nodded.She got up and went to where IvyCloud was.

Ashfur looked around, drinking in some air. The hunting patrol had just passed here and there had been some Clan cats here earlier since there was a faint scent of two apprentices.

Eagleflight followed Greytail and Ivycloud to the camp entrance, his tail flicking softly. "So where do you think we should hunt today?" He asked the two she-cats.

Redbird had a pitiful look in her amber eyes as she watched her injured apprentice. "You might be able to help with cleaning the apprentice den," she suggested. "Maybe you could get some of the other apprentices to help you." She didn't want Halfpaw to push herself too hard, but also didn't want her to feel like she couldn't help out her clanmates.

She thought for a moment then said ,"A-Anywhere i-i-is fine...".

"Okay," Eagleflight agreed with a small smile. He was sure that wherever they went they would find some sort of prey. He noticed Greytail seemed a little nervous, but didn't comment on it.

She stayed quiet and waited to leave.'Gosh, I'm making a fool out of myself' she thought.

Eagleflight chuckled softly. "Nothing, let's go," he meowed before leading the way out of the camp's entrance. He could already begin to smell the scents of prey, both stale and fresh.

She followed them often looking around but, not really looking for prey.

Eagleflight smelled a mouse and turned to Greytail and Ivycloud. "I smell a mouse in the little clearing up ahead," he said softly. "I'll go around so that I'm behind it, and you both can position yourselves around the sides so it doesn't escape." Then he silently began to walk until he was on the other side of the mouse, and could see it gnawing on a sunflower seed.
