Isn't he cute? It's like a cat and a parrot had a baby. They're my own creation, called Mimics.

Things you might want to know about Mimics.
-Some can speak fluently but most can only mimic short phrases
-They're about as big as a housecat, maybe a little bigger/smaller

Cost? Mimics cost nothing to adopt, all you need to do is fill out the form on the adoptable and be the first one to post it. Easy right? RIGHT. Customs do cost you though as my artists and I need some incentive to do your bidding :) Prices are in the post labeled "Customs"

Breeding? Breeding costs things as well. Go to the page called "breeding".

RULES

1. No editing forms while adopting is going on. If you can't think of a name for your newly adopted Mimic write WIP and post a NEW form with your mimic and it's name AFTER I say that all are taken and that you may post edited forms.
2. Do not double post (unless you are reposting a mimic you have adopted with your name.
3. Do not mini-mod unless you are a mod
4. No spamming
5. Write cymbals if you read this
6. Try not to chat TOO much on this thread. Feel free to talk on the Fanclub though :D FNACLUB


What I consider spam:
1. Double posting
2. Advertising for another site/adoptable group etc.
3. Whining that it's not fair that you didn't a mimic or your life sucks and things like that. Or that you missed a litter or something. THERE WILL BE MORE.

The limit of adopting is one every three days. This does not include customs/bred pups of YOUR mimic. Maximum number of Mimics per person is 15 at the moment. This may change.

How do you get a custom you ask?

Very Common = 1/2 point
Very Common Wishlist = 2 points SPECIAL
Common = 1 point
Common Wishlist = 4 points SPECIAL
Uncommon = 2 points
Uncommon Wishlist = 6 points SPECIAL
Rare = 5 points
Rare Wishlist = 20 points SPECIAL
Very rare = 10 points

Breeding!


This is how breeding is going to work.
1. Pay the fee (Three uncommons per person, but if you’re feeling generous you may pay both and leave the other Mimic’s owner to merely approve the breed)
2. Pick the two mimics you want to breed. One male and one female.
3. Each owner has to fill out this form:

And post it on the board or PM it.

4. There will be 3-6 kits born. Each owner will get 1 kit of their choosing from the litter (still one if you own both mimics UNLESS the litter is 6 kits in which case you would receive two.) and the rest will be up for adoption. The kits will be labeled you will choose which you want, by posting in the thread.
5. They will grow up in around a week so then you’ll be able to see what they look like.
6. Each pair can breed a maximum of 2 times. And if you want I can make a couples thing (like an adoptable) with both mimics for an extra price




RULES.
1. Same sex breeding is not allowed.
2. No Inbreeding! EVER.
3. There is a wait period of a week between breeding for each mimic.
