be heard from inside - noises that arent
too pleasing to the ear. do you

you take your first steps into the tunnel
and you feel the tension rise. something is
watching you. you shudder at the cold
temperature when you see something in
the distance shudder. you cant see to well,
only the faint outline of a strangely shaped
tail. its swaying aggressively though, and
your companion is getting a bit worried.
what do you want to do?

1. proceed with caution
2. go a different direction.

what you see is something beyond what you wished to have seen after the sun has gone down beyond the wood.
a cankee, wild and dark, stands before you, shoulders hunched in aggression with ears flat to it's skull.
it bares it's teeth and snarls wickedly at your presence.

what do you do?
1. back away slowly to avoid conflict.
2. send your companion in as a distraction while you run away.
3. send your companion in to fight and subdue the cankee.

the bush gives one more unsettling rustle and you look into it fearfully. the creature inside moves a bit too quickly and before you know it, it's disappeared. you found nothing, unfortunately.

Dagger immediately raises his hackles and attempts to pounce at the cankee protectively but before he could I grabbed him by the scruff and back away slowly.(Back away slowly and avoid conflict)

feeling the battle has already been won, he raises his head as a sign that he holds part of this land of the wood.
