The Wilx (singular: Wilx) are a vaguely canid species found high up in mountainous areas in the wild. As a result, they have evolved to have thick hollow fur (much like polar bears) in order to keep their body heat and have a very large lung capacity to get as much oxygen as possible. Wilx are very good climbers, with human-like front paws equipped with opposable thumbs for easier scaling of near vertical surfaces. Domesticated Wilx come in a great variety of colors and sizes, and are used for companionship, hunting, home protection and in the textile industry, much like sheep. Wilx are about as intelligent as a well trained border collie, and respond very well to human commands.
Wild wilx live in colonies led by the oldest female in residence. Young are born live and depend heavily upon their parents for their first few years. Wilx are a scavenger species in order to have access to as many calories as possible in their harsh original habitats. In domestic settings, it results in Wilx eating very odd things that their humans would rather that they left alone.

Important Info
- You may use a cover for your entries
- Only four entries please
- You can use either the adult lines or the teen lines. Please try to use a mix of both!
- You may have edits and accessories, though they aren't required.
- This competition has no specified end date as of now, and will end when we think there is an appropriate amount of entries.
- A position winner may keep their entry wilx as a custom if the so wish, or adopt it out at a later date.
- Do not edit the tail. All other edits are cool, just don't touch the tail. Only official artists with our personal approval may edit the tail in any sort of way.
Rules
- Do not remove our signature.
- Turn on the "FAKE" layer
- Do not use a Fake Wilx as personal character. You will get reported.
- Remember to have fun!
We will give out an undetermined amount of Artists positions to our first choices.
Our second choices will gain a temporary Guest artist position for one month.
Not everyone who tries out will get a position ;u;
New rule!
You are not allowed to change the tail or add tufts to it in any way. The people who have done this might want to go back and change that, just a little friendly heads-up ;>
