you choose to free the impdoe!
you reach down to the tiny thing and gently pull it up out of the mud.
she shakes in your hands but is otherwise consoled to the fact her legs are no longer caught.
she has brown marks on her legs, but try as you might to wipe the mud off, it appears thats her coloration.

you find a very odd, small impdoe trapped in some mud!
it is budging to break free of it's muddy confines to no avail.
she is far too small to break free by herself.

what do you do?
1. free the impdoe!
2. leave the impdoe and turn to go to the water.

I climb up to my companion

you climb up to sit beside your companion on the branch.
the climb is a struggle at first but you have made it.
you glance over the scenery and spot something very large and furry in a clearing not far from here.

what do you do?
1. climb down and head to the clearing.
2. climb down and investigate the den.
3. stay perched to get a better view of the furry thing in the clearing.

you choose to venture forth into the grassy plains.
the sun is warm on your back and the sky is cloudless.
you hear the hum of bugs around you as well as the rustle of some grass.

1. investigate the rustle
2. try to catch bugs.

without knowing much of what is out there in the clearing, you climb back down from the tree and head off towards the clearing, your companion following closely. you reach the clearing and your companion whimpers. all you can see above the tall grass there is a set of antlers. perhaps another comet cat?

what do you do?
1. call it closer.
2. send your companion to investigate.
3. proceed towards the creature yourself.

a large beast rears up infront of you.
it appears to be built like a bear with a large set of antlers upon its head.
good thing it's back is turned, you feel as if this creature would be a force to be reckoned with!

what do you do?
1. remain still as a statue, maybe it will not notice you.
2. get its attention with a whistle.
3. beckon your comet cat over for help distracting the beast while you run.

a small impstag appears infront of you and holds its little horns at you as if to challenge you.
he simply runs forward and headbutts you with the nubs, falling back onto his butt at the lack of give your larger body gave.
he looks defeated, but he does not retreat and run.

what do you do?
1. console the impstag
2. get down to his level and offer up a challenge with your hands as "horns/antlers"

(and i am good at coming up with fake species names xD impdeer are great. they are the mvps.

humoring the little impstag, you get down to his level.
you then use your hands as "horns/antlers", the proper weapon for his sort of battle.
the impstag rears up on his back legs and charges from a meer foot away to ram his head against yours.
your supply a little bit of a give, but just enough for him to feel proud of himself.
he backs away from you, looking pleased before he begins to strut around happily.

what do you do?
1. decide to take him home with you
2. leave him in the wild to fight other impstags
