Mothpaw shrugged, "If anyone else wants to join us they could just wake up." The Rainclan apprentice mewed before padding towards the den's entrance.

"Yeah." Dawnpaw gave a simple nod, soon gathering enough web from the clump of bushes in front of her to form a medium-sized ball of it. She then carefully picked it up in her jaws, getting up and flicking her tail as she headed off in another direction.

Blackpaw gave a small nod. "Alright then, sounds good to me. The less company, the better, anyways...." He mumbled, shaking his pelt free of any lose moss as he headed out into the clearing.

Firestripe followed the apprentice, still fussing over her. "You sure, Dawny? You still seem sad to me," he meowed, sniffing her.

Dawny....? The medicine cat apprentice's ears flattened slightly as she continued to walk. A soft sigh escaped her; why was Firestripe worrying? She was just disappointed... It never seemed to be a big deal to anyone else. "I'm positive." She meowed finally, her voice a bit muffled from the ball of cobweb she held in her jaws. She tensed a bit when he sniffed her. Goodness gracious, you would think he was my mother....

"So you say," he meowed, his tone flowing, looking after her. "But your ears are flattened. And I'll say, even though I'm utterly useless as a medicine cat to pick out herbs and use them, I can read cats perfectly." Firestripe bounced after her like a rabbit. "Nah, nah. You can trust me, Dawnpaw." He paused, looking at the apprentice. "Can't you now? Tell me what's on your mind."

Dawnpaw sighed, stopping after awhile beside a bush with yellow, flower-like herbs on it. She sat down and set the ball of cobweb beside her, leaning forward to snap a few small branches off with her teeth. "I just wanted to remember myself is all. I won't be a great medicine cat if everyone does everything for me," She muttered lowly as she finished.

"Naw, don't worry. Don't you think even the best medicine cats forget?" he asked, smiling encouragingly. "It's okay. Everyone makes mistakes," Eagleheart added. "And I know I'm being cliche."
